we have a rental from orlando stroller .. city double mini . . anyone rent one of these and if so, are they a bear to deal with at the buses and monorails?

Have you googled reviews about this stroller from just regular every day parents? That may help. I am also going between taking our own since we already know how quickly close that....

We took our Sit n Stand last spring, and while I can't offer you help with the busses (we drove), I can tell you that you can drive the stroller unfolded onto the monorail. If you have to get on any trams with the stroller, keep as much stuff out of the undercarriage as you can handle and prefold up the stroller before you get on. It will save a TON of time.

Will you have assistance with you on your trip? If so, have one of you hold tight onto the kids in the queue and the other fold up the stroller. It may have a single-hand release to fold up.

Good luck!

If it is a big stroller, when riding the buses, you can always ask the driver to let you enter through the rear door. It still must be folded but the rear door makes it easier to get on, without squeezing by all the other people who have already boarded.

You will find lots of reviews on this stroller over on the family board. We rented one from Magic Strollers in December. My DS4 and DD2.5 were very comfortable in the stroller. It was a dream to push and turn. I loved that the seat reclined all the way, the sun shades are huge and can almost enclose the kids! The storage was pretty good. The thing that won us over was how easy it is to fold, how lightweight it is and how compactly it folds. It was the easiest stroller I've ever used. We found it to be very easy to manage on the buses. We will always rent this stroller in the future! You can watch a video of how it folds on the magic strollers website.

Now, what I liked about renting from Magic Strollers is that they include a parent organizer at no charge and will also include a rain cover upon request (again no charge) AND they clean and sanitize the stroller after every rental! The stroller we got in December looked brand new and it was nice that they deliver it to your resort in a sturdy stroller bag. Delivery & pick up is also included in the price.
