Dealing with CMs over the phone

hey all. i've read so many different comments about the helpfulness of CMs when calling to apply the discount. i'm worried about getting someone who isn't knowledgeable or helpful. i want a bunch of different quotes but i've seen some comments on here where the CM doesn't give the actual price, they just say, "oh this is the best deal or that is more expensive, etc." i don't want to feel rushed or anything because i want to make sure i am getting the right package! i'm just wondering if anyone can comment on their experiences! i'm hoping most of the CMs are helpful but has anyone ever had a bad experience? also, if i do get someone who isn't great to deal with, should i just hang up and call back? that seems like such a hassle because then you have to wait on hold all over again!

i found most CMs I've spoken to very helpful and informative. for the rare few that I found weren't, I was able to figure that out pretty quickly and I just thanked them for their help and called back.

For me, its worth spending the extra time making that second call from the beginning than worrying if I could've/should've gotten a better deal.

I've personally never had a bad experience with a CM, whether on the phone or in person at WDW. They've all been great, helpful, very friendly, and knowledgeable.

I recommend any time you get a "quote" from a CM, make sure you have the name of the CM, time, and amounts quoted, especially if you decide to call back to accept the quote. Sometimes one CM will/will not see something the other did, and can cause confusion.
