Hi eveyone,

We are returning to Disney again in October from the UK for 14 nights. DS number 2 will be 2 years old and it will be his second trip.

On booking at the agent we upgraded from the Quick Service to the DDP. They have charged us for 2 x adults and 2 x children for the upgrade. Each child works out at about £85.

When we were at Disney last year, DS number 2 had no dining plan and ate off of our plate.

Do you know if this is just a mistake at the travel agent? I would gladly pay the £85 for our son to dine as he does love his food :-) Would he be entitled to dine on the DDP at his age?

Thanks very much for your help

Mandy

You should not have to pay for park tickets or DDP for a 2 year old. Unless you wanted to count him as 3 and pay for the DDP and tickets (some people do this during "free dining" to get more credits)

Keep in mind that a 2 year old would get "free" entrance in any buffet-type place (ie most character meals). For us, the price change would not be worth it for a few kids meals since we like to eat buffets (character meals and Ohanas)

Thanks for the reply. I've checked the paperwork, we have not been charged for the park ticket, just the extra DDP. It must be a mistake. However, if he is entitled to it I'd be more than happy to pay for what equates to less than $10 for a quick service meal, TS meal and snack for each day :-)
