We are staying at a DVC resort in Jan 07, we want to add dining plan do you HAVE to add the dining plan for you entire stay since you arent buying a package? :p

Yes, the DDP must be added for all occupants of the room for the entire length of the ressie.

If you definitely don't want the plan for your entire stay, you could always split your visit into two ressies and just get the plan for whichever half you want. The credits would expire at midnight on check-out day of whatever ressie you are using. However, by doing this you run the risk of having to change rooms and also need to check-out and check-in again. Only you'd be able to decide if it was worth the time/trouble.

And don't forget, if the ressie is a "rental" the member you've rented from has to be willing to make that type of split ressie for you.

If you are trading in through Interval International, there is no split option, it is all or nothing.

If you are staying at a DVC resort on cash through Disney, you will have to do the regular "package" to get the dining plan.
