i'm wondering about what you can get for a snack with your credits. i looked in the stickies BUT the information was really really old (last entry was 2010 i believe). it showed stuff from goofys candy shop, yummy!
so, wondering what you can actually get for your snack credit now, where you can use it. any pics would be great!
now if there is another thread and i missed it, sorry. i'm sure someone will let me know if there is.
tia and happy snack credits!

see OP told you where you can look for snacks etc. so many to chose from and our favorite is the sundae any kind you want at POP by the food court. not as big as Beaches and Cream but enough and so good...

We like using our snack credits in Epcot. A frozen lemonade, caramel oatmeal raisin cookies in Germany, schoolbread in Norway, any of the pastries from the bakery in France...the list goes on and on...

Sorry I don't have any pics :(

i lie the idea of the bakery in france.......:thumbsup2

We used some of ours on bottled juice in the am, too.

We used ours for packaged fruit($4) which we had for breakfast most mornings.(unless we had rice krispie treats *ha*)

I loved "The American Dream" iced drink, which includes soft serve ice cream and raspberry slushie(and whatever the blue layer is)
Another favourite is the jalapeno cheese pretzel and also popcorn. All of these are available at the American Pavillion in Epcot.

Carrot Cake Cookie from the Writers shop in Hollywood Studios.

Yum. Gotta try that slushie!

Carrot cake cookie. Hearing lots about that....is it a must try?

It was ok, we shared it the next day for breakfast and it probably would have been better fresh.

Because the UK dining plan still had 2 snacks this year, we had lots of them to use up.
If we return next year we will probably not get one again.

We also had some snacks from Karamell Kueche, and again if we return next year we will have to be more selective about our credits.
We'd never ever buy them oop, we got a pretzel rod and a chocolate/sea salt caramel and they came to roughly $9.

I think my top 3 snacks were:
*jalapeno pretzel
*popcorn
*slushies/frozen lemonade

because meals always include a sweet dessert, we preferred savoury snacks to use our credits on.

The UK uses different dining plans? I never knew!

This year we still had 2 snack credits while the US plan had already changed to 1 snack. So between my mum and I we had 40 snack credits to use up!
Sadly for next year, the UK will also only have 1 snack :( [probably better for my waist line and luggage allowance, mum and I each had about 10 snacks in our hand luggage]

Wow! We didn't use all our snacks last time...can't imagine having double!

My favorite 'snack' on the ddp is a ham and cheese croissant at the bakery in France (which I won't even attempt to spell ;) ). It's a nice light lunch, actually.

I have been reading your DR and enjoying it. I debated whether to use QS or DDP... I like how you have a variety of food to select. It is a possibility for when my kids get a little older and don't want the character meals. Two of your three top snacks are ours too... We love frozen lemonade slushies and jalapeno pretzels-- yummy!

I assume you mean me, if so 'Thank you'
Before our trip I read lots of dining reviews but back then there were only a handful of QSDP reviews on the disboards.

It was definitely a good match for mum and I, but if we had been in a bigger group or with children, we probably would have done the regular dining plan.
An upgrade to either the regular ddp or a resort that included ddp was an extra $300 plus tips, so we decided to stick to quick service and don't regret it as it gave us total flexibility.

We're planning on returning in a couple of years and hopefully my mum will have a grandchild to spoil by then, so character meals will definitely be on our list, especially because under 3s eat for free ;-)

Rienchen - I did mean you..lol. I am reading on my IPAD app and forgot what board I was on..lol .
