My son is 11 and we have the FD in Dec. If there is nothing that he would want to eat on the adult menu will they let me order him a cheeseburger off the kids menu and pay OOP for that and then we have an extra Adult Table service to use another time?

Yes, at most TS restaurants where you order from a menu you'll be able to order something from the children's menu and pay OOP without a problem. This is one way to extend credits for additional meals or 2 credit meals.
There have been a few posts that said La Hacienda limited the children's menu to 9 and under, but it's not a consistent policy. Via Napoli has strict rules on how you can use credits.
