Am I able to get a soup or salad as my appetizer for a table service meal?
I see it listed as "1 Table-Service meal including appetizer, entrée, dessert or full buffet, non-alcoholic beverage and gratuity/service charge ". Sometimes I just want soup or salad for an app, does anyone know if that's possible?

Thanks!

yes, just about anywhere has soup, salad, or other more "appetizer-y" type foods. the soup or salad may not be listed under appetizers, for instance as another course, but it would count as your appetizer. if you're unsure of what to order, the waiter will definitely help you out; they're very schooled in DDP by now. In fact, most places will ask if you're on the DDP and then quickly run through "you can get 1 appetizer, soup, or salad, 1 entree, 1 dessert, and 1 non-alcoholic beverage per person".

Thanks.. I wasn't sure if it had to be an "appetizer" I don't do meat or seafood so many of the apps are out but I see a yummy butternut squash soup and was hoping to get that...

The only exceptions I've read about are entree salads (or entree soups, though the last one of those I knew of was removed from the menu last month). Those would count as entrees of course.
