DDP question please

If I purchase MYW tickets myself (ie using my Airmiles) can I add the Dining Plan to the tickets? Or do I have to buy a DreamMaker pkg through Disney to get the dining? FYI - I was planning on booking the resort seperately in hopes for a half-decent code so would rather not go through the Dreammaker Pkg just to get the dining.

The dining plan is only available as part of a package, including rack rate rooms and park ticket. Annual passholders, DVC members and other "room only" ressies are not eligible.
