DDP/QSP Question

My family will be going 12/2-12/11/11 with my mom and brother coming along. Here's the question:

DH and I feel the basic DDP is geared for us (we did it back in 2006). However, the QSP is more tailored for my mom and brother. They're fine with CS meals and paying OOP for a TS meal for a night or two. The DDP would be too much for them (Mom is in her mid 60's and brother is 37). If the reservation is under my family's name, can we do DDP for my family and QSP for my mom and brother? Or do all members in the party need to have the same dining plan?

Thanks!

If everyone is in the same room, then yes you will all need to be on the same plan. If mom and brother are in a separate room, then they can be on whatever plan they choose. We are in a similar situation where we are traveling with my parents and sisters and their families. We have four separate rooms. Some of us are on the QSDP and some of us are on the DDP. It works as long as everyone in the same room has the same plan.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, we will be in separate rooms. My family will be staying in the POTC rooms of CBR. My mom and brother will be sharing a standard room at CBR.
