Are you allowed to order the Chef's favorite at Le Cellier as a dining option for a sit down credit? Or do you have to just order a regular entree and dessert?

You can order it but if i remember correctly you can't make any changes or substitutions.

Great i was wondering this question as well~!!! Thanks
:thumbsup2

Dumb question: What is the "Chef's Favorite"?

We are scheduled for our first ever visit to Le Cellier in March, so inquiring minds need to know!
Never mind. I think that I found the answer to my own question. It appears that the menus on this site call it the "Le Cellier Experience", so that is what threw me off...

This is good to know... I was hoping to try the soup without having to pay out of pocket!

Just remember they do not allow or permit substitutions or changes to the fixed meal...which to me was not worth it ,and since DD's meal came with the cheese soup and she didn't like it, I just ate hers.

I've seen a couple of folks say this, because the fixed menu does not feature any of the more expensive steaks.

It's my guess that Le Cellier is offering this menu on the basic dining plan to encourage dining plan users to order the less expensive entrees.

I tried my Dh's because he ordered it and it was not as flavorful as the other dishes. He liked it but liked my filet much much better.

Could 1 person who is on the dining plan order the Le Cellier experience and the other person who is on the dining plan just order a regular entree and desert?

Or do both have to have the same option?

Thanks;)

You do not have to both order the same thing. Dh ordered the experience and I had the Mushroom filet

So glad I came across this as we were going to switch and go somewhere else since the soup is not on the plan this time. We looooove the cheddar soup! This was the only place we really miss the appetizer.
