At a buffet, kid's can eat off of either the children's buffet or the adult's right?

There is no such thing as a "kids buffet" or even an "adult buffet" at Disney. They have buffets with one section lower to the floor which has on it items that kids tend to enjoy (such as pizza, hot dogs, chicken strips, mac & cheese, etc.). Any person at the buffet (including children less than age three who are free) can get anything from any part of the buffet.

I like the kid's choices on the buffet better than the adults. VERY GOOD!!!

Related question: can an "adult" (my 10 year old dd) get the "kids menu" item at Garden Grill at Epcot, which is family style, not buffet. I realize I will pay adult price for her no matter what she eats, but will they bring chicken nuggets to the table or must she eat the "adult" selection there?
