Heading back to Disney in December with my wife and 10 year old son. For the fist time we got the Disney Dining plan. My son is a VERY pickey eater. Since he just turned 10 he counts as an adult on the dinning plan.

Question, if we go to a full service restaurant can we tell the waiter/waitress that we only want to use 2 full service credits and purchase what my son wants off the menu? I hate to wast a full service credit chicken fingers.

thanks!

Yes. You just tell the server who is on the DDP (or who is going to use a credit) and who is not and they will split the bill accordingly. My family did this at several meals on our last trip.

Yep, that way you can pool your son's adult TS credits for the two of you to use (possibly adding some signature meals) and just pay OOP for his kids meals.
