DDP For Dvc

I noticed that many of you take advantage of the DDP. We are DVC members and until last spring were not offered DDP. Still unsure if we are going to purchase for our next trip in Feb. 07. My question is, many posts talk about getting free DDP. Does Disney offer this often and do DVC members qualify for free plan? How can I find out when they are offering free DDP? Thanks!

DVC members do NOT get free DDP.

You may pay for it but it must be for everyone in your villa for the entire length of your stay. No pass purchase required.
