DDP Brochure not up to date?

I just got back from WDW and was somehwat disappointed that the brochure I got did not list all available restaurants.

I am not sure how many are not listed, but for example, in Downtown Disney, after I used a counter service at one place, I walked past Pollo Campero and out of curiosity asked if they are on the DDP. They stated that they in fact were.

Anyhoo, I think for anyone wishing to go, don't rely on the brochure, get a print out online.

Actually, the brochure is typically more accurate than what you read online. Pollo Campenero is relatively new (this year) so it's possible they did not reprint the DDP brochure after it was finalized at the beginning of 2011.

But for 2012, right now, there are things listed that the Disney dining site shows as not participating. (And for others wondering, the 2012 brochure is not yet finalized.)

Disney doesn't update the brochures mid-year; they publish two versions each year, the first with only Disney-owned venues and the second/final with all the non-Disney-owned restaurants after contracts are finalized in Dec for the upcoming year. In the rare event that something is added mid year, as happened with Pollo Campenero, it won't show up on the brochure until the next year's edition. But that doesn't happen often - the vast majority of the time the brochure is complete and accurate.

I like the idea of checking for the online brochure before your trip. The 2011 brochure PDF files do list Pollo Campero.
