After making ADR's, changing ADR's and rethinking to death ADR's I think we are set. However.....

How does the DDP work with the menu at Tokyo Dining? I find it hard to believe that one order of nigiri sushi (2 pieces) is an entree. I'm just not sure how it works though. Any insight would be appreciated.:teacher:

Also any reviews are welcome! I haven't seen many and would like your opinion on the restaurant in general. Hubby and I love sushi and I think he will like the "authentic" Japanese setting.

:banana::banana:
The rest of our lineup is:
Chef Mickey's (dinner, first night tradition)
tokyo Dining
Boma (dinner, repeat from last time, so yummy!)
1900 Park Faire (dinner, heard the Tremaines are a hoot, first time here)
Whispering Canyon (dinner, heard it's lots of fun)
CRT (dinner, went before but the girls were pretty little so I don't think they really remember it. Did Akershus last time. Yes, I know the food is....meh. Haha)

Feel free to comment on the lineup if you have a suggestion. Nothing is sacred and we are happy to try new things..

Thanks Everyone!!:hippie:

At Tokyo Dining, none of the individual sushi selections are covered. You can only get sushi if you order it on the sushi deluxe platter or the sushi combo platter on the regular menu.

So you can't order any sushi as an appetizer?

You can't order sushi from the separate sushi menu on the dining plan at all.

The Unagi appetizer may be the closest thing to sushi they have on the regular menu.

Just to add--if you're on DxDP, which includes an appetizer, you still can't order from the sushi menu, only from the appetizers on the regular menu. So you'd still have to pay OOP for the sushi unless you got one of those platters.

I think the platters offer a decent assortment of sushi, though, but it depends on your tastes. I've gone to Tokyo Dining with a party where some people dislike sushi and others like it, and everyone has always been satisfied with their food and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Of course you can order sushi as an appetizer. But you would have to pay OOP. DDP does not include appetizers, except for specific prix fixe dining situations.

They're talking about the deluxe dining plan, which includes appetizers. But Tokyo Dining does not include any sushi orders from its separate sushi menu as part of the dining plan at all. If you are on deluxe DDP you will be ordering appetizers from the appetizer section on the main menu.

Teppan Edo also does not include sushi as an appetizer on deluxe dining.
