DDP and Tickets

I have a question about our reservation. I called Disney but the CM did not know that answer to a lot of my questions and I am not sure if she answered this one correctly.

We are going for 9 nights and we were able to book free dining with the bounce back. Currently I have 7 day base tickets booked. My husband does not like to go to the parks each day and does not need a 7 day ticket. I want to change all of us to a 4 day ticket (which keeps us all on the same package) but then upgrade me and the kids once in the park. Is that allowed? CM said everyone on same package. No upgrading allowed. It is a difference of a couple of dollars, not going to break the bank but would rather use the cash for something else instead of wasting it on tickets that will go unused.

Yes you can do what you desire. Does your DH want to go for four days? You can do just the two-day minimum needed for free dining, then upgrade to what each one needs. The one thing you will probably want to do is have everyone use the tickets once before you add on the days each wants.

That is what I thought. Thank you so much. I also told her that my dd9 would turn 10 right before the trip and I wanted to update her age. She talked me out of it. So I figured she may not know how to do certain things in the computer.

If your daughter will be 10 when the trip starts she needs to have the adult dining plan and tickets. It sounds like the cm might not have handled that correctly for you.
