Can we use our DDP counter service, snack allowance in the BC general store? Since they redid the store, they added nice sandwiches, etc.

Also, does Cape May offer counter service for lunch?

It seems to me Cape May is closed for lunch and only open for Breakfast & Dinner. I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong. :teeth:

If you are looking for a nice lunch, I would go next door to Beachs & Cream which is sitting right between the Beach Club & Yacht Club. Order the cheese burger. (I can taste that thing right now.) :woohoo:

I'm sorry but I don't have the answer to the first part of your answer. Maybe someone else can help on that part. ;)

I don't see the new BC General Store listed on the official sheet as a quick service location...only Hurricane Hanna's is quick service.

Yes, you can use both snack and counter service credits at BC Marketplace even though it is not on the list. We did so just a few weeks ago now. There are tons of snack options and you can get those good sandwiches as part of a counter service meal.

In fact we found a number of places that accepted the plan that are not on the list and I'm sure there are many, many more since the snack options increased so much at the beginning of the month.

As Doug said, Cape May is not open for lunch. It is a buffet at breakfast and dinner and those count as TS credits of course.

People have reported being able to use DDP credits for lunch at BC Marketplace. They've had sandwiches, soft drink, and pastry for dessert. Sadly, their yummy gelato is not on the dining plan, yet-they have until September to change that!

Yes, I know. I was there the first week of May.

Was some part of my post confusing?

However, we did have a CM or who wouldn't let us use the same choices for dessert as were marked for snacks even though another CM told us we could. Sadly, the one who said no was the one at the register. :rotfl: But I figured they would get that straightened out.

And yes, no gelato. I noticed that for my daughter who wasn't with us but is a big fan and also remembered you!

Anyway, yes you can get use a counter service credit at BC Marketplace...as I said. ;) We did for breakfasts as well as for lunches for our respective flights.
