DDP 1st timer - Question on Dessert

Hi we are doing the Disney Dining for the 1st time next year. My husband doesnt do desserts at all he hates them, in the UK there is normally cheese and biscuits for a savoury dessert so to speak, do restaurants in Disney do this too or is it and english thing, just so I can sort everything before we go, Many Thanks

Most restaurants don't do this. However I have heard of only a couple doing so. NOT 100% but they are in Epcot, maybe Chefs De France is one???

I am sure others can post which places will do this. But for the most part, no he isn't going to be able to do this easily.

Thanks for reply, if you cant do this then we had better order him a dessert to go and then maybe girls could polish it off late at night when watching fireworks etc lol

That sounds like a plan. Just remember to keep in mind when choosing his dessert, it needs to withstand the "trip" back to the room.
So if you don't head right back to the resort it won't melt, come apart, spill or anything else you may think of carrying a dessert around for a couple hours may do. LOL

Some restaurants, usually signatures, have cheese selections that can be ordered as a dessert. Most don't. Typically desserts in America are sweet. He can also try asking for some fresh fruit.

A lot of the restraurants also have the chocolate cake (along with cheese cake too). Both are good to go deserts. And perfect for that late night snack.

I think the Yachtsmen Steakhouse and Atrist Point have a cheese plate. It has been a while since we have been to either place so I could be wrong. But they are both 2 credits on the plan.

My DH isn't a sweet eater either. He will choose something to be boxed to go for a snack later for the women in his life or he'll ask for plain vanilla ice cream, which is one of the few sweets he actually likes. If you tell the server, they may have some suggestions for him. Have a great trip!
