Just booked a trip for President's Week (never been there at that time), hopefully its not crazy crowded.

I am not going to use DDP since getting reservations at this late time may be hard and don't want to worry about not using all the vouchers.

Where do I buy the TIW card? At guest services?

I believe you have to get it at EPCOT Guest Services (between the entrance and the bus stops), at least that's where I had to pick it up a few weeks ago. If you get there first thing in the morning, you can pick it up that afternoon before 5pm when they close. Also, if you look hard enough, you can find an application online that you can print and possibly submit, then just pick up the card when you get there. Bear in mind that you need to be an Annual Passholder or Florida Resident to get this card. Unlike AP's, this card is valid for 1 year from issue, not the first use.

I hope this helps, and please know that this is all from my last experience with the program. Things may have changed a bit in the past year-and-a-half.

Good Luck!!

TIW card is available at any Guest Relations location at WDW and they are now printed on site.

You can go to Guest Services outside any park or DTD to purchase a TIW card. You will need to show your Annual Pass and probably a photo ID as well.

Can you pick up at MK guest services?
Yes. I purchased a TIW card at MK on my December trip at the same time that I exchanged my voucher for my AP. You can buy a TIW card at any park now.

Lisa is correct. We picked ours up two weeks ago at the Guest Services location at Downtown Disney. It was printed right there on the spot. :)

Great, thanks for info.

I was surprised that they had anything left for President's week - GF, Poly, Contemp. Yesterday, there was nothing, we will be at poly one last time before BLT becomes our new destination.

The TIW card is good for 13 months from issue. I just purchased mine on Jan 23rd and its good til Feb 28th 2010.

Wow!! They've really improved the process since the last time I purchased the DDE card. Let's hope by the time I buy my next Annual Pass, it's a little more durable than those paper things!! Never made sense to me that a 3-5 day pass purchased at the Disney Store is plastic, but an Annual Pass to use for a whole year is only paper!

It isn't exactly paper, it is a Tyvek-like material, almost impossible to tear. In our experience, I've only had to get an AP replaced once for a bad mag strip. The plastic room keys, though, I've had to have replaced multiple times. The plastic cards just don't hold the encoding as well. Maybe the plastic generates a little more static than the Tyvek, and erases the strips.

We are going Easter and I have my AP voucher. We are not going to the parks that day. I'd like to orderit before we leave so we have it at dinner. Can I order it with my AP voucher?

They USED to allow you to do it with the voucher, but we encountered the past two years that they wanted an activated AP # over the phone or in person, they wouldn't accept the voucher #. That is why we had to wait to purchase at the park itself and it forced us to activate our AP if we wanted to use the discount immediately. You could always call and try, maybe you'll get lucky (sometimes different CM's=different answers)..but our experience recently is that they would not allow it.

Let's just say that you are going to be disappointed on two levels... :)

OK, I thought about leaving this post at that for a bit, but:

- As already mentioned, the APs are still Tyvek cards, and are likely to remain so;

- The TiW card is also a Tyvek card now

The Table in WOnderland card?

I never heard of the latter.

Thanks

It's the new name for the Disney Dining Experience discount card.

Haven't found anyone that thinks the new name was a good idea... :)

The Tables in Wonderland card used to be called the Disney Dining Experience card. They changed the name this past year. I still refer to it as the DDE...TIW just sounds too weird.

I often wonder what Disney's reasoning is for changing things like that. I mean, why would it need to be TIL instead of DDE? What could have been wrong with DDE? :confused3
