DDE question about Luau

I ordered my DDE card this morning. We will pick up our temporary card at Guest services at Epcot in May. I want to try to book the Luau. I know that only the late luau is discounted. The payment is due in full when I book, but I don't have my card yet, so is there anyway that the person booking can verify I have ordered it and apply the discount then? should I wait to try to book the luau when we get to the resort?

I guess I will go ahead and call to book it, and just tell them I have the card, but it hasn't shown up yet. Maybe they can look it up on the computer.
