DDE February expiration date

I just read on the Theme Park Strategies Dis board that they were told that if the card is purchased this week it will expire 1/31/06, but if they buy it next week it will expire 2/28/06. Anyone else hear anything about this. We are not going until Feb. so it might pay to hold off a week to purchase.

The card normally expires one year from purchase. At this time, purchases expire on January 31, 2006.

Since the card may take 4-6 weeks to receive, if you will travel earlier than that time they will send a printable email authorization to provide full benefits until your card arrives. The letter is valid thru February 28, 2005. (Perhaps that's the source of the rumor.)

If you won't need the card for awhile, it can't hurt to wait another week to order, but don't be surprised if the expiration is actually one year from the date of purchase.
