I've seen a few posts mention the DDE card. What is this and how can I get more info about them? Thanks in advance!!

The DDE card(I believe it stands for Disney Dining Experience) is available to Florida residents or Annual Pass Holders. You get 20% off your bill at most table service restaurants for up to 10 people in your party. This also includes alcoholic beverages. We got one last year. We paid $50.00 for it. It more than paid for itself after a few days. It is good for 1 year. So we are using it on our quick get away next weekend and also our our summer trip in June. :flower:

I have a business friend who lives in Celebration and he is a strong promoter of the DDE. WE're going to get one for our summer trip and with an AP, you only pay $50. I like the fact that there are no point counts, no special menu restrictions, etc. like the other dining plan. I simply don't want to have to think alot about what and where we can eat. Present the DDE and you'll get 20% off most all of the major eateries. Since we stay in the ASMo, every purchase at the food court is game as well. With DS-18, DD-16, DH and me we'll probably pay off the $50 in 2 days!! Good deal for us :cool1: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

As of Jan 1, it is $60

I was skeptical about this card because I thought it would be a hassle using it and not end up saving us too much money. I went ahead and bought it anyway and was so glad I did! It saved us over $200 on our past trip and we'll be able to use it again on our upcoming Sept. trip before it expires. No hassle at all, you simply give it to the server before your bill is presented and the 20% discount is applied. We looked at it as saving us the cost of a tip. It was money well spent for our family :)
