DDE at AK question.

I know we can use the DDE card at the Counter Service Restraunts at AKL but does any one know if you can use it to buy the vouchers? I am working on my budget. Right now it appears the vouchers alone would be better.
1/2 slab ribs at Flame Tree 8.49, Drink 2.29, Drink later 2.50, Ice Cream 3.00 = 16.28 +tax - 11.99 = savings of 4.29
vs. 16.28 x 20% = savings of only 3.25.

No, you cannot use the DDE discount to purchase the AK vouchers.

I also think the vouchers are a better value than the DDE card for AK counter service - assuming you will eat / want everything the voucher provides.

What are these Vouchers for AK and can anyone get them????

At the AK the vouchers are called "Meal Certificates" and anyone can purchase these. There is a note on the certificate that states"valid for day of purchase only", however no CM ever checks or refuses to use the certificate on any other day.
Certificatres are good for one entre and one beverage, one snack (either popcorn or icecream), plus a second beverage.
I find that the purchase of the Meal certificate does save more than using the DDE.
Price for adult certificate is $12.74 (which includes the tax). I cannot remember the price for the child's, but it is around $6. However, with child's certificate be aware that the child menu has to be purchased and usually the choice is peanut butter sandwich or chicken nuggests. (no pizza at Pizzafari on Child's menu)
