Always try to remember to use those moments to see what your boss thinks...Afternoon, Gents! Just an afternoon check in for me. I got to talking to my supervisor today about the position and if I like it and would be willing to stay on. I of course said, "Yes, I would love to stay on." which is the truth. So she's going to make the arrangements to keep me on. She feels that with all the training I've gotten it'd be a shame to let me go. Quite honestly I agree. I mean, I went through a lot of training just to get to the point of being able to do the job. She also said there's really a need for another full time person in dept. I said, "I like the work, and would love to be able to come on full time, but barring that happening, I'll take all the temp work I can get." So while I indicated I'd love to stay on, I'd be happy with whatever I can get. So fingers crossed
How am I doing?
Any areas where I could do better?
I'm interested in full time, what are your thoughts?
Also, try to think of ways to make your boss look good. If you do that, most will want to keep the ones that do.
