Two more days. I got the new, formal offer letter yesterday for the full time position. Start date and training days are still the same, but my boss thought I may have to be hired PRN and then transferred to full time. It all happened so fast. I still don't know if I want the full time gig, but the $ was just too good to pass up. So, it's back to my original plan back from August. I guess I'm still not ready to stop working.
Maybe you can go do other things again? How about puberty?

College years would be pretty good. I was either drunk, dj'ing or shaggin. Sometimes a little bit of all 3.
I was lucky that I survived my college years. Yeah, it was fun, but not sure I would make it out a 2nd time.

Morning, Gents, from a snow-covered Cape Cod. We got about 3" by Wednesday morning, just enough to make it look pretty. Unfortunately by the time I got off of work it was getting too dark to use my camera, so I didn't get any picture. Next time. I'm only responding to what I read on Tuesday, so I'll get to the other posts after I post this one. I didn't want to make this too long.
Work's still going good, and I think, THINK, I'm going to get extended past the 4 week contract, which technically ends next week. I found out from talking to my contact at the staffing company that the company I work for hasn't mentioned the contract will be ending next week, and apparently, unlike the last company, this company is pretty good about communicating. Also I found out the company is still trying to fill two positions in the department, so it looks good that I'll be staying on for a bit longer. I'm still hoping to make this a permanent position, or be able to use this to move into another position within the company. However, if they are still trying to fill two more positions within the department, maybe there's enough work for permanent positions? We will have to wait and see. That's about all I have today. Hope you get to stay on at the job. We had snow too, but not enough ti cover the roads. Still, school closed yesterday at 1 PM before the snow started. A new pickleball player retired, re-located here from Michigan, and asked why everything would close for so little snow. I told him to just get his emergency French toast supplies like the rest of the state. I can't ever remember closing schools BEFORE bad weather, and they did so at 50% capacity.
Enjoying not having the beard? I don't usually have a beard, but when I do grow one its weird after I first shave.
I still have a slight mustache/ goatee, but the hair can't extend far past the mouth or under the chin. It was almost a deal breaker. You can Google CDC n95 mask facial hair and see a whole chart on acceptable facial hair and mostly unacceptable. Apparently, they all have names like walrus, anchor, etc. I haven't been this clean shaven in 15 years. DW asked me shave all the beard off once, I did, walked into the living room, and she said grow it back and never shave again.
Since Pinky and the Brain haven't been successful in taking over the world, would they really be the best two to ask? Love that show, by the way.
