I should have jumped on. Up at 4 AM because the power (and the AC) went out. Tomorrow will be just as bad. DS is at MEPS and needs to be up at 4:30 so guess who is giving him a back-up wake up call? If all goes well he will take his Oath of Enlistment tomorrow but the recruiter said that the MDs have to reject 20% of the applicants to meet quota even if it is for something minor. It may just be a temporary disqualification but still a pain in the posterior and discouraging I am sure.

Still crazy hot here with no rain in site.

Declan wanted to go fishing and today was the day we had planned to go. Technically the woods are still closed but with the water levels dropping the way they are, we snuck out to his girlfriend's family camp and fished a pool just above their camp. No success for me but Declan did OK.

Happy Tuesday. The cat is awake wanting fed. I should have sent her with the boy to MEPS. A few more minutes of sleep for him before the most important day of his life so far. However the day goes this has been good for him.

Morning gents.
Just another sunny day ahead. Actually, we've had a bit of cloud last couple so it's nice to get back to normal. Should be a nice one of with a high of 81F/27F. Nice motorcycle weather.
Did a 4K run yesterday and didn't hurt afterwards (well... not much), so definitely an improvement. Felt I coulda done 5K if I'd wanted to, but promised to do my first one with DD and she wasn't along.

The cat is awake wanting fed. I should have sent her with the boy to MEPS. A few more minutes of sleep for him before the most important day of his life so far. However the day goes this has been good for him.

Cats should enlist. They'd make good snitches for the top brass. Good luck to the boy!

Afternoon chaps from another 30c special today. Kids are round my mums, which is a good thing, as this week they are about 50p away from being sent to boarding school. Calls aplenty until 2, then I have to go and pick up some timber to fix in some new fence panels, and then some dinner in my Mum's garden when we pick up the little horrors. All kinds of stuff opens up here on, you guessed it, July 4. So we'll all have something to celebrate (apart from another year of compound interest on the back taxes since 1776).

Another day in the mid 90s forecast here. I had planned on going for an early morning run this morning but I overslept so I need to figure out another time, probably tomorrow morning.

I got rejected by the recruiter, but thay is because I had metal plates/ screws in my arm. I got that walking in the door, so that was a short conversation.

Hey, our government will pay those back taxes and soon as our government pays our own back taxes for sending money to everyone who isn't working because our government arbitrarily selected some of our businesses to close.

I never heard of anyone being kicked out for being under weight.

If he gets in, let him know he's going to n3ed to learn to scarf down his food quickly. In basic training, very little time to eat and if you're in the back of the line, almost none.

Top O the Mornin Dads! DD and SIL coming over tonight for some pizza as DD wants her local fix before they head back home Friday. Probably the last quality time with them tonight so looking forward to that. Looks like I have some Cellulitis / bad skin infection in my upper left arm. Dang thing grew to 4" diameter over the weekend so went and got checked out yesterday and Doc has me on some heavy antibiotics and if it don;t start to clear in 48 hours got to back. No idea how I got it but I got it.

Well with all the WDW aingst, thought I would get us back to some WDW Pick 'ems to hopefully brighten the day
