DW, who does do FB was watching something funny earlier. Since you can't get stuff in facecrook out of facecrook, I decided a simple web search. If you've seen it before, disregard.
Forrest Gump dies and goes to Heaven
Forrest Gump dies and goes to Heaven. When he gets to Heaven the gates are closed, but standing by the gate is St. Peter himself. He says, “Well Forrest, it’s certainly good to see you. We’ve heard a lot about you. I must tell you though, that the place is filling up fast so we’ve been giving an entrance exam to everyone.”
The test is short, he explains, “But you have to pass it before you can get into Heaven.” Forrest is a bit surprised about this and says, “Shor hope the test ain’t too hard; life was a big enough test as it was.”
So, St. Peter proceeds with the three question test. “First,” he says. “What two days of the week begin with the letter T? Next, how many seconds are there in a year? And last, what’s God’s first name?”
Forrest leaves the gates to ponder the questions, but the next day returns to give St. Peter his answers. Forrest looks at St. Peter and says, “The first one, which two days in the week begin with the letter T, well that’s easy. That’d be Today and Tomorrow.”
St. Peter is a little surprised and says although that wasn’t what he was thinking, Forrest has a good point so he decides to give him credit for his answer. “How about the second question?” he says.
“Now that one is harder,” said Forrest. “But I thunk about it and I guess the only answer can be 12.” St. Peter replies, “Forrest, how can you come up with 12 seconds in a year?”
“Well there’s gotta be 12,” said Forrest. “January 2nd, February 2nd, March 2nd…” St. Peter interrupts Forrest and says that although that isn’t what he had in mind, he’ll let it pass.
Finally, St. Peter asked Forrest for the answer to the third question. “Sure,” said Forrest. “It’s Andy.” The Saint is exasperated at this point and says, “Andy?! What makes you think Andy is God’s first name?”
“Well,” replied Forrest. “I learned it from the song. ‘Andy walks with me, Andy talks with me, Andy tells me I am his own…'” Without missing a beat, St. Peter opens the gate to Heaven and says, “Run Forrest, run!”
