Hey guys. Yesterday was my lucky 13th anniversary,

Cool. What part?
Too bad they weren't here last week. the weather was warm (25-28C) and sunny the whole week. Cooler (19C), overcast and rain showers today in St. John's, and supposed to be cooler all week, although hopefully some sunshine.

We share an anniversary date we celebrated our 29th yesterday.

They are heading to her mother's in Port aux Basques, then a trip across the island to catch the ferry to St. Pierre et Miquelon, for a couple of days in France.

Afternoon dads,our time in the world is done.sitting here waiting for tragic Express to arrive.

Monday morning was a bit tougher today and I'm exhausted. It's been awhile since I've played a tournament, and it wasn't this hard to recover.

Hey guys. Yesterday was my lucky 13th anniversary, do DW and I went out for dinner. We went for a drive earlier in the day with DD11, with no real purpose other than going for a drive. Saturday I spent painting the front step and mowing the lawn.

Congrats on the win. Sounds like it took a toll physically, but I'm sure it's worth it to spend that time with DD.

Allow me to correct myself. I don't think I've ever been in a non-manmade cave.

Thanks. KY has a large cave system, with Mammoth Cave being the most famous. They offer tours (schools & walk ups) and it is really cool. We've taken our girls and had a lot of fun.

Monday morning was a bit tougher today and I'm exhausted. It's been awhile since I've played a tournament, and it wasn't this hard to recover.

Morning everyone, enjoying a holiday here. DW and DD left this morning for a 2 week trip to Newfoundland. Heading out for a ride this afternoon.

Wish I could do that. Got my license on a Honda CB 350 and really miss that bike. I wouldn't mind getting a Suzuki TU 250 to run around on but SWMBO would veto it. I really would like to have my Dad's old Knucklehead. I've only seen pictures of it. He started out with it as a teen but a drunk hit him when he was about 19 and that was the end of the bike. Faterh-in-law has a 201? Harley Trike. I guess if I had to take it I would though I've always said if I need training wheels it is time to stop riding.

August in Appalachia has been fall-like already. No complaints from me. It will probably get hot soon though as the kids start school on Wednesday.

Top O the Mornin Dads! DD will be leaving tomorrow morning so I'll see her tonight for a bit until December. Lots of running around for the two of them with mostly large group gatherings and not a whole lot of quality time with the two of them which kinda sucks but is what it is. Stay safe out there.

For anyone with fall travel plans, Alaska Airlines just sent me an email that they are having a sale for flight this fall. JFK to SFO for $297 round trip ($237 if you want the saver fare). Some other gems in there too. For me, Boise, Seattle, and Portland are all $59 and under each way.

And you will be doing what while they are away? I find that business trips (or a trip apart once in awhile) are good for a long term relationship.

I'm always thinking ahead but normally wait until about 7-10 days after getting back from DaWorld to start locking and loading
