My vacation officially started at 1 pm.have to finish packing tonight then off to the airport tomorrow.

At least here (California), the permit doesn't affect it. I pinged the insurance company when daughter got her permit and the response was basically, "lovely, teach her well, let us know when she gets her license."

That's good news.I didn't know that.

Afternoon fellas. I survived my race. The heat spiked this morning and the temperature went up about 17° during the race. And then the worst happened—beer vendor decided not to be there this year! So no post run frosty beverage!!

About 48 hours left until we check into the Grand Californian. And it will only be in the high 80’s while we’re there. Better than the 104° outside the house right now.

We left Moncton. Took the Homestead road to RT106 to Petitcodiac. Then on to Rt 890 to Sussex, where we had brunch at JJ's Diner. Then Rt 121 to Hampton turning off on RT 845 across the Kingston Peninsula to the Westfield Ferry , Then Rt 177 to home.
