Right boys, I'm about to dive into entertaining mode. Happy New Year from the mother country, as there's only about 6 hours left, and I'm going to be drinking for almost all of them. It has been a pleasure chewing the fat with you guys over the last year, and long may it continue. When I've had some crappy days at work, this has been like a good bar with some friendly regulars to have a banter with.

and may the new year ahead of us bring growth, learning, a decent helping of laughter and just maybe even a little bit of grace.

It may be a while yet before I'm dropping by more regular, but I hope to check in every once in a while.

So.... not sure... not a fan?

I was a fan of the Star Wars movies. I always liked the light saber fight and force. I liked the prequels and extra force stuff, especially Darth Maul and the staff light saber. This movie just failed.

Questions of priorities man. You don't focus on a game where the players flop every 2 minutes.

Better than 5 seconds of play followed by the 40 second break, timeouts, instant replay review, etc.

My problem with the NFL is that some players and coaches are allowed to coach and play thru their suspensions. Other teams' coaches and players don't. Some catches are catches, and others aren't catches, depending upon the team. Some plays can be reviewed, some can't. It seems like point shaving at its best, and scripted WWE at its worst.

I didn't see any football yesterday. The Man City will definitely be in the record books, but I think people are getting a bit carried away. I don't think they are the best team to play in Prem history.

You've watched Premier League longer than I. Leicester City had a great run with Vardy. Chelsea had a great team with Hazard, Ouzil, and de Costa that one year. I've got to see Messi and Ronaldo play for their respective country teams, but not on their club teams. Man City is fun to watch this year.

I can cover the booze and could put you up in my garage. It's a bit cool for me, but probably the right temp for you Canadians. Just use CJ's credit card for the flight, and you should be good to go.

Agree with you. Not a huge fan of the NFL but I do love college football even though they have their own problems. Like how Mark Richt wasn't thrown out last night for grabbing a ref.

Morning boys from a hailing London. Got the bill for Xmas this morning from Amex, not too bad. Doing our AP's for da World today as with the DVC discount its about 1000 cheaper than the two rounds of tickets. Unless I'm really missing something. The Arsenal invincible team of 03-4 were incredible. Just beautiful to watch. Man U with Scholes Beckham Giggs around the same time were pretty tasty as well. Ronaldo I saw a lot, when he was at Man U and they visited West Ham. I still remember his penalty miss against us, I was at that end and he got absolutely caned. I think Cantona is the best player I've ever seen play live. It doesn't fit the script, but Leicester were a nasty team. Not taking away from them at all, it was an unbelievable achievement and will probably never be repeated, but they weren't a very pretty team to watch.
