Cold is proceeding along. Last night was bad but feel better this morning. Plan is for more R&R and naps. Stopped by the pool bar yesterday and saw an old CM friend. He is a staple there for about 18 years. May stop by again today to see another old timer. Also went to the Bell Vue room to see another long time fixture. Had an Old Fashioned, something Scott reintroduced to me a few days ago. Cleared the sinuses.

Good fried chicken, BBQ and a Bourbon bar. Maybe I park the trailer on your lawn. Then you have to go ahead and ruin it by saying it is above freezing today.

Pretty much settled back into the regular non holiday routine.
I'd rather be complaining about how hard it is to go back to work after returning from WDW, but we can't have everything.

I may try it one day. I like the milkshakes at the Plaza and Sci-Fi.

I like's me a good shake, but not all that much of a fan of PB&J in general. Are there any other specialties offered at the various venues down there that just need to be tried?

I think I'm it in a few different groups. 1/10th or 1/20th of that jackpot is still more than enough to retire for me.

And may y'all hit those numbers.
Someones going to get part of it sooner or later, it might as well be someone for our little group.

Got the same amenities here and it's not as far north or away from WDW.
Of course, you're still better off where you are in the long run.

Top O the Mornin Dads! Took my sweat a$$ time getting going and into the office this am. Worked on systems conversion stuff weekend of Jan 2 & 3, worked on things Monday night during championship game til about 11:00. Starting to have enough as we are not converting a sister company's data, we are correcting it, cleaning it up making sure we sell items at a profit not a loss, etc. On a brighter note, booked car service for June WDW and July DCL as well as booked airport Hyatt for night before the cruise so I guess all this garbage at least leads to those two trips.

Old Fashioned help cleared up the cold symptoms huh? I like those as well but gotta keep it to a couple or look out

I'll second the Plaza for ice cream and sandwiches.

Spent this afternoon at Disney Springs. What a difference from not too long ago. Made my way to the Boathouse and Jock's Hanger Bar. Both interesting places. Boathouse is expensive food wise but they do give a 10% DVC discount. Jock's is kind of cool. Quirky and a fun atmosphere. Mostly a lounge place with limited food items. Would post pictures but can't get them off the iPhone. Hate not having a camera.

Checking out of here tomorrow and head to the Poly for three days. While I am homeless between resorts I might head back to Springs for lunch. Choice is between steamed clams at Boathouse or a Brat at Jock's.

Cold is still fighting me. Last night wasn't great but today was better. Going to crash and burn soon.

Played well enough on the tennis court tonite. I tried a new nylon string but didn't really care for it. But, my arm doesn't hurt as much, so that is a bonus. Iced down the foot and knee and now heading to bed. I hope to be a millionaire in the AM.

The Plaza is our favorite restaurant at MK. Crystal Palace has the buffet and CRT is eating in a castle with princesses, but for food, ice cream, and price, the Plaza wins for sure. It was one of the last TS restaurants at MK we tried, and wished we had tried sooner. They also have an QS ice cream place next to Plaza where you can order and sit outside to eat. We enjoy that as well. That was where the dds had their colossal ice cream cookie sandwiches.

Well? Did you? They did sell a winning ticket at a Publix in Melbourne. Alas, it wasn't me. But I guess one key to winning is actually buying a ticket.

I'm guessing it came out of the diner era in the 50s . I worked at a Silver diner as a waiter in college and we were doing it there.

Looking at other people's responses I'd have to say I'd agree. If you are paying out of pocket it's an inexpensive table service inside MK and it has good ice cream and milkshakes. If you are on the DP I think there are better uses of a credit but when you're just paying cash it works great.

We walked by boathouse on the way back. The menu was pricey but it wasn't as crazy as I was initially thinking. I'd definitely like to try them out.

Yeah I really liked the rain shower in the dvc studios. Which building are you in? Did you wind up with a view?
