The last Indy movie... well... sucked. If you can revive that franchise with something decent then okay. Otherwise, please let it die.
I wouldn't mind Ford in a cameo, though. That'd be okay.

A cameo along the lines of Stan Lee would be enough to me.

I watched an interview with George Lucas after the franchise sale, and he referred to Star Wars as a soap opera in space or space opera. I know that some fans are just enamored with that, but I really don't care. I like the light saber action, space ships, force powers, and all the special effects.

I'm probably one of the few who really didn't care about any of the old Star Wars characters appearing in this movie. And, since we learned in the prequels that other species have the force, I was disappointed that in the 20 + year time frame after the last movie that there aren't more trained jedis. Hopefully, the next movie will change that.

Well, one last holiday type dinner tonight with the ILs and future SIL. Nice night to wrap up for us including all watching the Hawks (SIL is a Boston fan). Back to the regular routine for me tomorrow so wishing all had as a nice of a holiday as I did.

No tv for me to be antisocial on, so I missed the games. I'll be sure to catch Championship game. Why was it on NYE? I hear an interesting commentary, more connected with baseball, that sports games are now viewed as 162 reality tv shows where advertising can be sold. So, it's not about the sport or the fan, but just about the ad/ network revenue.

Well, I won. But then the Bama/MSU game sucked so I ended up voluntarily giving up my TV control just after halftime.

George Lucas seems really bitter in the latest interviews. I have a hard time feeling sorry for a guy who sold the property for $4 billion and then grumbles that they didn't like his ideas.

Not a bad way to spend the break. I am going to see SW again while at Disney. The kid doesn't want to see it again so I guess I will have to go by myself after she heads back to school.

Highly unlikely. They kept Tannenbaum in charge of football operations so I have little hope for the future. Expect them to pick a long snapper specialist or some other useless position with the number 8 pick.

Would not want to be QB with this offensive line, you would end up getting killed. I would suggest something in scouting. You get to travel around watching football and no one will care what you input is. The big shots will just do what they want anyway. You would have "I didn't pick him," as a built in excuse.
