'Morning all...
Tumbleweeds are rolling down the aisles in the office.
glad I'm out of here at noon (of course being independently wealthy would be better, but I'll just have to settle for now).
Just wish it wasn't quite so predictably regular about it.
I was moving a bit slower for a day or two after spending the day crammed up under the sink but It's eased off a bit now. The problem is that I just can't put as much effort into anything anymore with out having to stop midway.
Still not being able to really feel my fingertips is frustrating beyond reason too.
Worse, this may be the new normal.
I'd rather have a more fixable work schedule where I could have used it all up before now and in the spots on the calendar where I wanted instead of the leftover spots where they'll consent to allow it. Out of 52 weeks in a year I'm only allowed to even consider about 20 and half of those require cajoling and promises of working some while I'm off before they'll be considered.
We count on you being around here pretty regular.
It's like every thing else, you got'a use the time off to do the work you can't do while you're working.
I've got a ton of honey-dos to knock out before we start having our various family gatherings.
This Christmas thing is just about more work that its worth (well... the social side of it at least).
So far everyone has been real good about not giving stuff away, but I am glad to hear such a consensus amongst all us geeks on it being worth the wait.
That hand sure beats my two pair.

You can always count on something going awry regularly with an older house. It always seems to work that way, doesn't it?
I hope the back isn't suffering any ill effects.

I had nearly a week of left over vacation time that I had to find a way to use or lose.Half days? Lucky.
I work full days through Wednesday, then off the rest of the week.

Of course it's good...I'll be here as usual. That may not be good news.

We've got tickets reserved for Thursday as well.Cool. We're going to try and see it as a family on Thursday. Hopefully I can avoid spoilers until then.
