Good morning!

We had DS's first school concert last night. Christmas program put on by grades K-3. I was worried that I'd need the extraction team on standby, but I've got to say... it wasn't bad. The concert was a quick half hour and the kids did a good job.

I guess I should go ahead and post this here... I've posted in my TR thread, but we'll be adding to the family this June. We just told family that DW was pregnant on Thanksgiving. At the concert last night we had people who are acquaintances at best walking up to us and saying congratulations. Apparently, DS is pretty excited and has been telling anybody who will listen to him.

I know. I was dreading it going in, but it really wasn't bad. They kept it short and sweet and the kids really did a good job. They really need to give this music teacher a raise.

Congratulations, Andy! Sounds like it's time to start scheduling some cross-country trips!

Who's crazy enough to want to do something like that with a baby???

Feeling a bit under the weather so haven't been around for a few days. Speaking of weather, S. Florida is in the dry season. We had 5-7 inches of liquid sunshine since Thursday. Flooding in some areas with more rain expected the next few days. I think it is going to be that kind of winter. And on cue, it is pouring again.

Congrats to Andy for the new mouth to feed. To quote Luca Brasi, "I hope that their first child (OK, third child) be a masculine child." That is unless you want a girl.

Florida is playing in the SEC Championship tonight and I am hoping it is at least a close game. If they do happen to win, it would shake things up quite a bit. Nothing to complain about, if they went 7-5 I would have been happy.

Yeah, no kidding. I'm scared about this one. The first 2 weren't too bad and I seemed to be able to run on less sleep then. The past year or so, I struggle if I don't get a good night of sleep.

I was a Gator fan yesterday. Too bad they couldn't shake things up, but not a bad season. Maybe they can get an offense for Christmas this year.

Well, it wasn't a close game. Florida got smoked. Not sure I get why Oklahoma dropped from 4 to 3 in the playoffs, but I guess it's punishment for not having a league championship game. A Clemson v Alabama championship game will be fun to watch, assuming both get there.

Spent the morning/early afternoon running around but got stuff done too, so it's all good.
Dec 6 today, so the DDs boots got filled with candies and chocolates from St. Nicholas.
Funny how my boot never gets filled.
