So our Christmas cruise has been paid for and we've have flight home on January 3rd, now to find a way to Miami.

It's been a bad few weeks since vacation and I'm ready to ship my daughters to stay with you. Maybe I'll miss them.

A friend gave me his old cell phone, which is better that my newer go phone. He re-set it all, and I'm doing updates now. I'm looking forward to having screen without a large crack across the middle.

Tell me about it. It's been reasonably warm up here, warm enough that I could be out on my bike.

We've had warm weather for November. It must be all that global warming and thickening polar ice caps. I wish I could played tennis another month. Foot feels better, but not good enough.

Whatz Up Guys, been awhile since I checked in, been very busy planning out trips. I got 1 more trip this year Dec 5 - 8 , then 6 trips planned at this time for 2016. Our last 5 or 6 trips we have toured with another family from my son's school, and as word has gotten around his class I have recently found that there are 4 families that will be there during Easter with 2 more that might be going and want to tour with us. I think I have found the happy medium where we do 3 parks a day and still have 4 hrs of down time in the afternoon that is usually the busiest, so far everyone we have gone with loves this plan.

Whatz Up Guys, been awhile since I checked in, been very busy planning out trips. I got 1 more trip this year Dec 5 - 8 , then 6 trips planned at this time for 2016. Our last 5 or 6 trips we have toured with another family from my son's school, and as word has gotten around his class I have recently found that there are 4 families that will be there during Easter with 2 more that might be going and want to tour with us. Friday is good. Put DS on a bus this morning for an out-of-province volleyball tournament, just me and DW for a couple of days. Bond tonight and doing our own thing tomorrow. For her that's shopping, for me that is raking leaves.

It's Friday. I used to look forward to weekends, but tomorrow brings a swim meet and basketball tournament 40 miles apart. Maybe I'll get another weekend in March.

Record temps down here. The heat index reached 100 in the Keys for the last three days. Where is Fall?

The plan is to fly in on December 24, the cruise leaves on the 26th. We are staying at the Intercontinental Miami for those day (got to love points). The cruise returns January 2nd and we plan on heading to Fort Lauderdale that night and catch a flight at 5:30 am to head home.

Happy Saturday Gentlemen, its Game Day. Gators clinch the SEC East with a win over Vandy. Some other good games to watch.

The plan is to fly in on December 24, the cruise leaves on the 26th. We are staying at the Intercontinental Miami for those day (got to love points). The cruise returns January 2nd and we plan on heading to Fort Lauderdale that night and catch a flight at 5:30 am to head home.

Intercontinental is a nice joint. Christmas in Miami, sounds like a fun time.

Happy Saturday morning. Oldest dd at swim meet and I'm getting ready to go to basketball game. I did cut the grass and chop up the leaves in backyard. I have a pear tree in the front yard that still has its leaves. It is a cool, crisp fall morning here - too nice to be sitting indoors.

Yup. DW got the swim meet. Youngest dd is riding team bus to game and I'm driving over in a few more minutes. I wonder if she'll ride home with me or her team.

Evening Dads. Good football Saturday including CJ's Florida escape vs Vandy and of course another nice win by my Irish. Bama / LSU looks to be a heavy weight slug fest early on. Got the garage cleaned up and Christmas decorations staging done today along with playing some of the new Call of Duty. Hope all are enjoying the weekend - have a good Sunday gents.

Bama is taking it to LSU. Fournette has been stuffed.

Survived the day. Oldest dd took 10+ seconds off two of her strokes (back, free 100s I think), and finished 3rd in 200 free heat. She didn't see her 200 breast time, which means she didn't do well there. We'll get times online tomorrow after they verify with handheld timers. She has three more events tomorrow. Youngest dd struggled at basketball today. She looks tentative playing with older girls. The coach said he may try to put together a 6th grade team only to get them better adjusted. But, I think he's a DB so it's probably just smoke he's blowing.

Nice day here too. My plan is to do as little as possible today. Last few have been way too busy as I'm sure some of you can relate to.

Youngest DD played in her Provincial Honour Band last night. Sounded awesome. Played 4 pieces averaging 8 minutes each. Considering they only got together 3 days ago (16 hrs practice) I was amazed at how good they were.

... Speaking of work, with our new Republican Governor, I may be out of work next year. Time to wait and see if he values the government contract. We are budgeted thru end of FY, I hope.

Best wishes for no financial hit from the new Gov. I've "not" heard from 4 different sources that we are getting a new center director starting January 2nd so I anticipate some type of official word coming from the ivory tower before Thanksgiving. I don't work for the director, but they have a way of either making my life easier or harder by what they do or don't do. Nothing could be better than what we have now and I do mean "nothing".

DD had a good day yesterday at Junior Bible Quizzing. Our teams got sent to the west region in Louisville but it was worth the trip as she took first overall. Did better than we expected so we stopped at Cracker Barrel to celebrate. Meal was disappointing but SWMBO pointed out some Christmas presents she wants so it wasn't a complete waste.

Happy Sunday. Been a busy weekend. Oldest dd finished strong today at her swim meet, taking off more time from previous starts as well as no Disqualified. This would be the first time. I played tennis indoor this afternoon, which will be my first two times in one week since mid October. The foot feels ok now - tomorrow will be a better sample. Did terrible in fantasy football - left 40 on the bench . Mass tonight and youth group before yet another crazy week. When is that retirement start again?

Yes, a new director makes all the difference. They are an excellent use of taxpayer money. I think I have 8 directors over my department that each make $100K. They are all safe from any cutbacks. It will just be the LMTP like me that gets cut to save money.
