Great pic. We missed the parade last trip. Having 4 different families on the trip together, the kids just wanted to hit the attractions together. I just wanted to see that damn dragon!

Went to the MK and enjoyed BoG. First time I even stepped foot in there and i have to say I am impressed. She had the Quinoa salad and I just had a bowl of the French onion soup. Of course we got the grey stuff cupcake. Food was tasty and the theming is unbelievably well done. the Pirate Princess was freaking out when we sat down worrying about how they were going to find us. Soon after picking our table, the food miraculously appeared. I asked one of the servers how they did that and he told me it was a "Magic Castle."

I wasn't suggesting commando mode. I'm able to drive from KY to WDW all night long with an hour nap in the car. She's a lot younger than I am and she eats those healthy sheets of tofu.

I already emptied that out of my brain. I don't have many brain cells left, so they are efficient at removing bad memories.

But in brighter news the DW got a nee position and will be moving to day shift in January. We will actually be able to see each other and be awake at the same time on the weekends.

Congrats to DW and you for being able to see each other on the weekends.

Good morning gentlemen,

DW had a big number birthday last night. I pulled out all the stops. Lobster tails, bacon wrapped scallops, bacon wrapped filets, brussle sprouts with bacon crumbles (caramelized in the bacon grease), and faux twice baked potato. I also got her a set of pearls with matching earrings. Plus the new Subaru we ordered in October came this weekend.

Ohhh, Bacon and a new car. Now that's the life.

Wow! I must say how impressed I am by how far and how much this group has grown. I remember responding to the first thread thinking this was a really cool idea this was. I never imagined that it would continue and grow like it has. While I have never been a major participant, I tried to keep up with things for the first few years. Over time, life and other activities have pulled me away from the disboards, but every time I have returned, I have always been surprised with the growth and camaraderie that this group has displayed.

Well, see that's the problem. You need to change your priorities.

Another year of performance appraisals are in the books. That makse for a good day! On top of that, one of my co-workers was at Southern Tier Brewing Co. this weekend and brought me back 2 bottles of Rum Barrel Aged Pumpking.

So, when we opening those bottles?

Thank you Jet Blue! The Pirate princess was scheduled to land from Newark at around 8:30 tonight. NOPE! Flight canceled but they could get her to Boston with an arrival time in Orlando around 12:30. After over an hour on the tarmac, she called to say the Boston flight is headed back to the gate. Next step is unknown.

Boston is awesome!!

The kid arrived at 3:15 this morning. We stayed up a bit chatting and I heard the retelling of the travel antics. The Princess is still fast asleep. It is highly unlikely we will make our 9:00 FP for ToT but I am hopeful we will make our 1:00 FP like thing for Be Our Guest. First time trying that restaurant. Tonights plan is to see the fireworks at the MK.

Morning, men. Late start to my day. Slept poorly. It seems I am at the coughing stage of my head\chest cold. Decided to sleep in and take the kids to school and then go into the office. I LOVE knowing the stages of my cold. As long as get some solid sleep over the next few days I should be good.

Now, can someone locate David? He seems to be conspicuously absent...AGAIN.

Glad to hear that you had a good time. I'd love to go more often but the airfare kills us. And I'm not driving from Pittsburgh. It's about a 1000 miles and 15 hours of travel time by car. I don't have the patience for that.
