Randall great to hear you are on the mend.

School still in session?
Kids don’t finish here until the end of this week. A week later than usual. They tacked on 10 days to the school year but it’s all “professional development” days for the teachers. No extra instruction for students, just prolongs the year. Although my youngest admits they’ve been watching “Coco” and “Annie” in class this week so I wonder if the extra days were necessary.

I fly in late on the 9th and leave late on the 13th (of August).fe
I’ll miss you by less than a week, I fly down on the 17th.

We will be there from the 3rd till around noon on the 10th:yay:, :scratchin possible DisDad meet:thumbsup2
Drat I miss both of you by a week. I’ve never had a Disdad meet up, would have been fun.

Heading downtown with DW today to see Disney in Concert with the Nashville Symphony and some of the broadway singers. There will be a screen showing the film scenes as well. An outdoor amphitheater right in down town is the venue so should be a nice evening.
Saw that on FB, looked like a great night.

No, but mayonnaise on Frites is worthy of invasion. Friggin' weirdos.
I never got used to the pots of mayo on the restaurant tables over there. I can’t remember if the places in London had them, but Aberdeen sure did. When my ex came to Aberdeen to visit, she thought mayo on fries was the best thing. Yeah, I got rid of that problem...

A very happy London out.
Sounds like a good day all around.

So true, bet it was yesterday you were feeding her baby food or taking her on her first ride on Splash Mountain. Great picture of a lovely young lady. Congrats to her.

Lot of soul searching at the US Soccer Federation today
Seeing as you beat Panama 4-0 in the qualifiers. I looked at the results, I'm struggling to see how you didn't qualify.
Thank you all for the well wishes!
All the best to you and Jodi, chief. Hope you are continuing to mend.
A very good day in England today. Enjoy it Mate.
That it was. 6-1 in the world cup, Hamilton wins in France, Beat the South Africans in the Rugby at theirs, and sealed a 5-0 win against the Aussies in the One Day Cricket. That'll do for a week-end.
I’ve never had a Disdad meet up, would have been fun
Looks like you're still stuck with Sir Limps-a-lot.
They grow up so fast.
My youngest, prom day/grad.
Congrats to the young un. Good job there fella. Have a cheeky one from the fridge.

You generally have to ask.

My Brit dive buddy spent last night in his caravan at a bar that is owned by the same family since the early 1800's and they have a campground next to it. Drove the short way back to their house to watch the game. Great weather in the West Midlands so they headed back afterward. I can reasonably assume a party atmosphere will prevail.

Happy Sunday. Last week of the fiscal year. Not that it means anything different, just more paperwork for auditing.

Top O the Mornin Dads! Had a nice night with DW and the concert was really good. Enjoy Sunday guys.

Best of luck Dan!

Saw the picture on FB. Any secret for free downtown Nashville parking?

Maybe you will get ....

YUP!!! Local schools get Federal tax money based on the # of days of school. So, watching a movie at school counts as a day of more tax money. Make education great again? :sad2:

Prayers for those in need; Praise for those deserving; Disney, Dole Whips & Bacon for All!

Got home Thursday. Did well with the physical therapy (PT) while at the hospital. Surgery was a success, before surgery I was only able walk 5 minutes before my legs would go numb. I was told that I may not see any improvements for weeks or even months. It dawned on me while walking with the PT nurse that we had been walking for longer than 5 min and I wasn't numb at all. They kept me in the hospital longer because I had a lot of discharge, so Thursday morning came and the doctor said I could go home. He said he would be up about 4 pm to button me up and to have Jodi there so we could discuss home care. He left and about 10 min later I put my brace on to take a walk, I hadn't used the walker since Tuesday, so I didn't use it then. I headed out to the hallway and started down the hall, when I see my doctor at a work station. I breeze pass him, said good morning to him again only to see a look of shock on his face. I continued my walk to the end of the hallway turned around and came back. When I passed him again he had a big grin on his face and told me I was doing ready great. I got back to my room took off my brace and sat in my chair just as the doctor ran into my room to tell me he would be back up at noon to get me buttoned up and to get me on my way home. I did have a setback at home and need to use the walker again, but as of this morning I am once again walker free. I am still mind numb from all the drugs, and just typing this has taken me longer than it should have, so if anyone wants to update the crew on the Facebook feel free to do so. As for me, I think I'll take a nap.

Hey you kids, get off my lawn...

Glad you are kicking butt at rehabbing. Can’t wait for our cruise. Looks like you’ll be surfing with me in the carribean...

Thankfully funding here doesn't work that way

So come down! Looks like a few of us will be there...

Would love to but DDCC and a couple of basketball tournaments that doesn't look possible. Although DW has toyed with the idea of driving down from Montreal after the last tournament for a few days. Not sure if we could swing that though.
