Can't get used to the new look / navigation

I'm getting more used to the look but I don't care for the navigation either.

Brothers - I have been very actively engaged on the Tech Support board (shhh....don't tell my management) and have seemingly identified almost anything that we could do, that transfers here. At the risk of idiocy, if you have any tech questions, feel free to tag me and ask away. I'll try to post links for things that I got answers for.
I am still trying to confirm the bad news that we won;t have our individual post counts in the forum.

As for the Tag Fairy, let's just say you won't be seeing her for a while.

Testing posting a picture. If this works, it is relatively easy to reformat the pic to fit size constraints. I do have to make a copy before adjusting the pixels.

This is a pic at SH DD took yesterday.

Found a another functionality difference. Subscriptions and folders. Doesn't seem to let you move your subscribed threads (now called "watched threads") into folders.

And one more observation, then off to bed. Just looked closer at my post count...the post count is not dynamic. It notes the actual post number with the post. This one should be #1705.

Opened it in Preview
Opened Show Edit Toolbar
Clicked the resize option icon
Lowered the resolution of pixels per inch - Went from 72 to 15 and the file went from 2.2 MB to 104 KB (Kept the same Length and Width)
Then dragged the picture to the message

Once I figured it out, it took less than 30 seconds. I am going to delete the copy in a day or two to see if it kills the picture like it would do if I deleted it in Photobucket. I don't think it will. This is going to make posting pictures much easier.

Not sure I like that. Seems like it is quicker and easier from a TR standpoint to just upload them and grab the link and post. I never did any reformatting before I posted my pictures. This just seems like extra steps in the process, but I haven't really tried it yet.

You know, I almost wanted to pipe in and tell him that if he had a problem with the content there, he should just come over here since this is more of a family friendly discussion area. But I figured at this point, his mind is made up, so do whatever floats your boat.

BTW, Looks like a certain conversation has been deleted from FB... I had a notification from that convo a few minutes ago, but just went to look at it and can't find anything.

Oh well. I honestly think that the cold and snow and winter is making everyone just a bit loopy and edgy.

Loons like I missed a photo blitz too dammit. I'll see what I can do tonight. Staying far away from any drama. The boss will provide me more then my fill. Brought in to do work thismor ing while new servers get installed and it's preventing me to do anything I need to. Add missing yesterday she'll be fired up good lol.
