Kids just got home. Great day almost 70 here today so outside with a cigar and Makers to start the birthday weekend off. On to our favorite steak house tonight so hope all have a great weekend as today got nothing but things to be happy for - cheers!

Happy Friday y'all. We finally made it! It's supposed to be a rather nice weekend here in Southeast VA. DS and I are going to take Amtrak up the road a bit to Richmond, VA. He LOVES trains and I got a great rate on the hour ride. My folks are going to pick us (DW will join later) and we'll spend the day finalizing all our plans for our WDW trip coming up in 15 days. Can't wait!

Happy Friday. Drove both to school, went to the gym, went to both offices, went to Mass, played tennis, and home in time to meet youngest off the bus, and oldest to swim. DW said the she wants a date night tonite, no kids. You all have a good evening, and don't wait up .....

Hospital went OK, DW is doing alright but a bit sore. Without going into too many sticky details, the surgery was on her lady bits, so it will take a few days of bed rest to recover.

Sounds like most of my Friday nights. I'm trying the Kraken tonight (I decided it was fitting for this dark and stormy week) so depending how potent it is I may not make it to 9:00.

I've gone as far north as Pittsburg from the Newport News, VA station. (Southeastern, VA). One day, I'd love to do the auto train to Disney. Not that it'd be cheaper or quicker. Just different and I'd enjoy the experience. Pretty sure, DW would just fly down and meet DS and I there.

Y'all boys enjoy your night. I think I'm headed out to the fire pit and enjoy myself.

First weekend in a few that DS has no basketball so what are we going to do....go watch the varsity team play for a chance to move on to their provincial final game next weekend. Hard to stay out of a gym I guess.

I've thought about the autotrain, just to ride the train. It would be a 8 hour drive to get to the train, but it would be fun.
