YUUUP!!!

NO leftovers anywhere. I made a batch for home and a batch for inlaws, and all gone. I think Randall may have the recipe on page 1. Whether or not it works is questionable with the migration to these new boards - some links were broke. They are labor intensive (rolling green beans in bacon and stabbing with toothpick), but taste great. Even the SIL who doesn't talk to me ate and enjoyed them.

I think I've found the flaw in the system. I've sent you your share of all the dues portions i've received. Where Randall is CBO, and I just try to collect some food, there was never a dues collection enforcer. Maybe Randall can appoint you that job?

A whole day without a post - it may be a first.

Happy Sunday. Made pancakes for breakfast for the family. Basketball and diving practice today, followed by Mass tonight. Hope all have a great day.

Well, at work right now. But I'm having the folks over for Grey Cup and dinner.
Something different this time. Bunch of finger foods (hot and cold) for dinner.
Grab a plate, load up, watch the game.

We went to see the new Pixar film. Heard a lot of mixed reviews so I just tried to sit back and not over think it.
Better than I anticipated. Decent mixture of a couple of standard story lines: overcoming fears, getting past ones prejudices and preconceptions, if you love something then let it go...

The "cattle ranchers" were my favorite secondary characters (didn't expect that take on the characters or story line).

The general animation was absolutely stunning, while the characters were more simple (and I think that bothered a lot of folk) but all in all we enjoyed it immensely. .

There is no joy in my house today. Gators face planted yesterday against the school that shall not be named and the Phins did the same against another team that shall not be named. Though to lose that ugly to rivals.

But that Stanford vs Notre Dame game was a great one. Yeah, Florida State really took it to them. But, on the bright side, I got a lot of fantasy points from Ivory against the Dolphins. Well, that was bright side for me.

The game's in my home town this year, but my team ain't there, so I'm not as invested as I could be.
I was rooting for the Redblacks since they only came into existence 2 years ago and are the underdogs.
They almost pulled it out, too.
My Mom said she was cheering on the Eskimos. I tried to get her to bet $5 but she said no.
She regretted that decision!

It was a heck of a good game! Both sides came out flying and then it turned into a defensive battle.
I hate when a final is something like 35-0 at the half, so this was terrific. (1 point lead at the half. Game came down to the final minute.)

Morning all.

Made it through our biggest weekend of the year, our annual sport summit/AGM and provincial sport awards. Glad that is done for another year.

DW and DS had to travel for a JV HS basketball tournament. His team went 2-1 and finished 3rd (poor tournament setup). The game they lost was by 3 points and according to the reports I received, they were easily the two best teams in the tournament. They have another game tonight against the other high school in our town and it should be a great game.

Getting closer to our cruise date so it is time to make sure everything is ready for that.

Top O the Mornin Dads! Trust all had a happy and safe Thanksgiving. Notre Dame loss stung a a bit but considering the injuries and schedule very good year even if not gonna get into the final four.

Thanks for the review but I think my movie going budget is consumed by Star Wars so maybe we can catch it on the summer cruise scheduled. Hope the boy was able to make it home for a few days of family time.

We're dealing with a stomach bug at home right now. We were heading home last night from the hanging of the greens service at church when DD puked in my truck. All I've got to say is I'm glad I bought Weathertech floor liners and I will never own another vehicle without them! I pulled the liners and car seat out and got the garden house out of the garage and made quick work of the cleanup. She seemed to be ok this morning... didn't have any more issues during the night, but DW wasn't feeling well this morning.

A&M had more trouble with them than they should have last week; don't over look the game.

Thankfully we played well and posted a nice finish to the regular season. Should get us a nice bowl game.

Just got a notice from my accountant that she received a notice from the IRS that I owe $519 still from this year. After three paragraphs of mumbo jumbo she ended it by saying "Happy Thanksgiving." Surprised she didn't add "And A Merry Beverly, Peanut Butter, Tofu Christmas."

Not a happy camper right now.

i can't believe I've never need here! First, I'm repping OKLAHOMA (since there is non on the list yet) and second I NEED A NUMBER. I think a number should have come before a license plate, but oh well.

I'm thankful to have been part of the DisDads for over a year now. And lookin forward to meeting lots of guys at DDCC4!
