What is wrong with you?????

I know, I'm sick. I should have slept until 8! Curse my internal clock.

It was nice, and I can't wait until summer.

That was my backup plan. ::yes::

Always nice to have a backup plan. :thumbsup2

You and me both. :sad2:

Mhmmm

My June schedule is 2 or 3 days a week. Combined with my retirement, it comes close to my previous income between the 2 jobs. 3 days a week may be better for me, although, not sure I can always get that.

3 days would seem ideal. I gather by now you've settled into your job and are comfortable with it?

Morning all.

Just finishing up watching the Monaco GP. All the drama happened on the out lap but still a very cool race to watch.

Hope you all have a good Sunday.

With my subscription, (2 day delay) I'm hoping to catch it on Tuesday... and not hear anything about it until then.
Need all the vibes fellas. 90 mins. Just need not to lose. Then we are in Europa league. I'll be behind my sofa for the next couple of hours.
Good luck. Must be just about finished as I write.

Another long day. I'm sure some of you have "honey-do" lists. When you sell a house, those lists exponentially multiply. Going back to work tomorrow may give me some rest. I wasn't keen on selling the house, but now without the hoard and some improvements, it's looking better than ever.

Isn't he the head of your health care? Wow! I can't believe he not only lied but admitted that he lied. Was he removed from his position or something?

ETA
Nevermind, I read an article about it here: Fauci Admits Post-Vaccination Masking Was About ‘Signals’ Weeks after Insisting Otherwise | National Review

I wasn't surprised he lied. I was surprised that he admitted it.

I guess as much as I can be. I haven't done everything yet, most notably the helicopter transport and life vest. But. I'm sure I will eventually get the chance. It is a lot of responsibility, perhaps more work than I really wanted in retirement.

So, West Ham made it? I thought it was #5, or that just for FA cup? I was getting updates on my phone while doing all the work on the house.

Well... as the head of the health system, that makes him political, I would think.
So... a politician that lies is pretty much a truism. One who admits it, though... that's rare!

Morning, Gents! For the past two weeks I start my Monday by being pulled from where I was supposed to go to a different location because someone at a certain location always calls out "sick." Mhmmm Find out last Thursday, while talking to my scheduling supervisor, that this is a normal thing for this person. So, we'll see where I'm really supposed to go. Otherwise, looking forward to the week.

Have a good day, everyone!

"Mmmmm "honey-do" lists." I'm slowly starting to chip away at my "honey-do" list, it's going to take some time, but I'll get to it.

Isn't that a good feeling when you've reached that point in your job, doesn't it?

Morning, boys.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine starts in 90 minutes.

Started watching Lost (thanks for the tip). So far liking it quite a bit (seen the first two episodes, Pilot part I & II.) The eye candy didn't hurt either.
Was wondering where I'd seen Evangeline Lilly before, Ant Man (Wasp).

Funny. I recognized her, but if you watched Lost when it first aired, you wouldn't have as it was her breakout role.

Find out last Thursday, while talking to my scheduling supervisor, that this is a normal thing for this person.
Odd that person hasn't been let go or at least reprimanded.

Hey there, fellas. Hope you all had a good weekend.

We did our 3 days in the park and really had a great time, best part was when we hung out with the other DisDads who were there. And we were fried! So we came home early. Sure we could have done other things while there and maybe get into the parks later in the day if passes became available, but we had nothing planned... and I swear to the gods, if we don’t have something planned, Jodi and I will sit there and say “well. What do you want to do?” Over and over and over... and we were fried! Next time we will stagger the park day to every other day and plan another activities if we can’t get passes again.
It was kind of a perfect storm kind of thing. If we had any idea this would have happen, we could asked someone staying on site to add us to their reservations.

I also had no idea about the 3-day pass rule. It'll be great when the park reservations are a thing of the past...hopefully? I get the feeling I'm going to have to learn an entirely new system next time we go back.

Hope you enjoy it! The pilot was one of the best openings for a TV show ever, in my opinion.

Always interesting to see who breaks out. I don't think Lilly was the strongest actor on the show by a long shot. But definitely one of the best-looking.

Morning All. Happy Victoria Day!

Victoria Day - Meme on Imgur

Afternoon boys from a sunny London. Running and working pretty much all week. I tihink the family moggy, Mr Big is pretty much at the end of the road, so there might be a tough one way trip to the vets on the cards in the next couple of weeks. He's 18, so he's had a pretty good innings.
I'm now in the rareified air of Mikey, with 3 confirmed Distrips in the schedule.
Happy Victoria Day!
Bless her and her black wardrobe.
And her son who was probably Jack the Ripper. But lets' all move on from that.

YES!!!!!

It works like this:
Champions League (The old European cup) - Top 4 places (Man City, Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea)
Europa League (The Old UEFA Cup) - 5 & 6 (Leicester and West Ham)
Europa Conference - A new one that looks a bit rubbish (7) (Sp#rs

So not too shabby at all.
Hope you enjoy it! The pilot was one of the best openings for a TV show ever, in my opinion.
Totally agree, but that's its high point.

I am holding out the folorn hope that they will open up APs before I go - that will save me a shizzle pile of dough.
Evangeline Lilly
She mighty purtee.

Have a great day, muchachos...

Ah, man. I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like he's lived a good life, but that's hard no matter what.

I'm now in the rareified air of Mikey, with 3 confirmed Distrips in the schedule.

Ah, the life of Mikey. No better place to be.

Totally agree, but that's its high point.

I can't go that far. I thought season 1 was intriguing, seasons 2 and 3 intriguing but a little slow, and thoroughly enjoyed the wild twists and turns of seasons 4 and 5. The final season was a mess, though.

I am holding out the folorn hope that they will open up APs before I go - that will save me a shizzle pile of dough.

I wouldn't worry. We all know Disney will work extra hard to help save you money.

Sorry to hear Dan, never an easy trip to make.

I'm semi-awake now. Barely.

Sorry to hear. Never a fun trip. Our oldest is 14 and that's the longest we've had a Kees live. (She's our 3rd of that breed.) She's showing signs and we're all holding our breath a little.
Bless her and her black wardrobe.
And her son who was probably Jack the Ripper. But lets' all move on from that.
Look, she had an entire era named after her. What's a little serial killing compared to that???

Evening, Gents. Came home to another letter from the VA denying my claim, again, for my foot. I called, and am currently on hold, to figure out why when I have the letter approving my referral. The lady who's helping me, who's really nice, is on the phone to the billing dept./company they use to find out why. The good news is the hold music is 40's big band music....so I'm all set. Love me some big band music. Oh, and for the first time in 3 weeks I wound up at the location I was supposed to go to. Imagine that.

Morning, boys.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine starts in 90 minutes.

Funny. I recognized her, but if you watched Lost when it first aired, you wouldn't have as it was her breakout role.

So I gather Lost is worth it? Haven't seen it.

Odd that person hasn't been let go or at least reprimanded.

She may have, at least I hope she has, because I was sent there 3x in 2 weeks because she called out...which was getting annoying. I was told, by my scheduling supervisor, that she calls out a lot, but this is a large company and it takes a while for things to happen.

I tihink the family moggy, Mr Big is pretty much at the end of the road, so there might be a tough one way trip to the vets on the cards in the next couple of weeks. He's 18, so he's had a pretty good innings.

Sorry to hear, my friend. As you said, he's 18, so lived a good life.

You know, I feel like I should laugh, but that's funny.

Happy Monday. Had a really good day at work. I got the oncology floor solo, and was able to discharge over 10 patients and complete almost all new patient assessments.

Well... as the head of the health system, that makes him political, I would think.
So... a politician that lies is pretty much a truism. One who admits it, though... that's rare!

I guess that's to give him some credit. That's been my point about this COVID stuff - much of it has been non-science based - yet people have accepted it as their new religion.

Today was one of those great days for me.

And every job has that person who doesn't show up and work.

Lost was a good series.

I'm hoping Disney will scrap the park system, but I doubt it. This is a great way to track people, and deploy the labor force.

Sorry to hear about the family pet, and thanks for updating me on the new system.
