Today feels a bit more magical. Heading into the office for thr last time, zoom meeting turning in computer, and walking out.

It hurts my soul everytime youngest orders snow crab legs while we are eating at a restaurant in the Florida.

I swear I get more road rage trying to navigate a shopping cart through Costco than I ever do on the highways.

My boys have really gotten into F1 so I've tried to watch it with them in order to do the good dad thing. But I lost count of how many times the race finished in just about the exact order that it started.

Try Indycar. Much better racing and tracks are more varied.

Morning, Gents! Bit sore this morning as I somehow threw my back out, doesn't take much these days. Actually, I'll go months and be fine, then all of sudden my back will go out. Sucks getting old. Well, not much to report this morning, so everyone have a good day, and we'll chat on the other side.

I've had the PEI mussels a few times and always enjoyed them. I figured they were even better right in that location. Fresh seafood is amazing, especially when prepared well. It hurts my soul everytime youngest orders snow crab legs while we are eating at a restaurant in the Florida.

I live on an island, and seafood is abundant, so I can conquer, fresh seafood is amazing.

So annoying when you get looky loos. "If you're going to meander through the isles looking at every product, pull over to the side!" So annoying.

Nice! Lighthouses are always cool.

Morning guys.

not the best day yesterday. Spent all of it putting the pool to bed for the winter. I save about $600 doing it myself but it’s a big job. Still not done. And... I managed to snap a part in half. Repair guys coming tomorrow at $150/hr. So... if the repair takes 4hours or more, I lose. Yay.

Day 1 of semi-retirement. I have to work my Church job until the 10th, but there are only 3 work days left there, one of them being tonight. I'll burn some sick days there and the Labor Day holiday.

My new employer had an article yesterday about hiring 30 new people as they were adding a shift. I guess I'm one of those. I still don't know what my new shift will be, although, I'm guessing 2nd since no one wants that shift. If it's 2nd, I'll miss my evenings during the week, but now with my youngest doing early college, I'll still get two mornings with her. It could be 4 on and 4 off. But, it wouldn't mess with my sleep schedule much. And, if I don't like it, I can always try for another shift or another job somewhere else.

Thanks. Did you do the Disney resort in HHI? VBR has the resort on the ocean as opposed to the hotel/ beach house. And, VbR has dining options, tennis courts, basketball court, and I like their green space to check out different games. The view from the Green Cabin Room will be the best ever.

Thanks. Sorry to hear about the back. Played tennis yesterday and woke up at midnight with my left hamstring cramping. Shot out of bed and stretched it until it stopped hurting. I haven't had one of those in years. Hopefully, if we find a place with a lake on it. Fresh fish is really good, and just doesn't have to be deep fat fried. Or, the beach condo for fresh seafood as well.

That is my nightmare. That's why I have a guy who opens and closes my pool. It might cost a bit more to have him do it but I know I will either miss something important or break something and that will cost me more than paying my guy. And btw, why close so soon? I'm in MA without a heater and I'm keeping mine open for another two or three weeks!

As Darcy alluded to, an adblocker will likely make a huge difference. I'm not getting popups.
I would recommend adblock browser for phone or adblock plus plugin for browser.

Top O the Mornin Dads! MOnth end at work, looking forward to the 3 day weekend and other than that does WDW have to IP everything? Poly was recently updated while BWV could use some work as rooms are a bit old and worn. Buuuuut, since there isn't any come to mind IP that would tie to BWV lets update Poly with Moana. Why can't Poly just be Poly without IP? You can update Ohana with characters and such to bring in new IP and I'm good with that but just seems to me they are taking this IP a bit too far in some areas. Remember, Contemporary has some halls themed to the Incredibles as a "test"! Heck, one could argue that POLY and Contemporary are IP so why mess with it? That's enough, back to your regularly scheduled programming. Stay safe guys.
