Happy Tuesday. Bought a new phone today, and an entry into the world of Android. So far, so good. Not as intuitive as Apple, but a whole lot cheaper
I find that fascinating. When I first started researching Disney on the DIS years ago, there was nothing that could touch Le Cellier. And getting an ADR there was not easy.
It has been a difficult ADR. Haven't been back since signature switch

Is it a power play? What's the up for them for the sabotage?
.
DW had a hard time at Shulas. Definitely a shady group, or at least full of convention people acting like they were above everyone - not the Disney umbrella feel.
I've tried to figure out the sabotage. Jealousy? I'm the only over 40 Male, so that's doubtful. Sexy? No, I'm fat. My guess is that I do a 40 hour week job in 20 hours. While I'm terrifically efficient, I know that I can't do it God. And, there is no chance any of them want my job. So, I don't get it.
I used to do 16-18 days, when I had more time and more money, before I started this 8-5 daily grind. It's a great break from the real world.
First 7 or 8 days we would rent a house, relax (and drink) by the private pool, then 10 days at Disney. Probably would work better the other way around, need a break after the parks. But it was nice either way. I cut my August trip down to 10 days due to vacation time from work and cost cutting.
3 weeks sounds even better. I take that time off in the summer, but I'm home with the kids. So, it's not really an escape
I absolutely loved Le Cellier. Thought it was the best restaurant at WDW. Then they changed it to a "Signature" restaurant, screwed up the menu, and it hasn't been the same since.
Yachtsman was really good the one time I went there. And I really liked the prime rib at Turf Club.
Haven't been back to Le Cellier, but that's what I heard in those reviews. There is so much good food to eat in Epcot, so we just skip it now. That prime rib was amazing at Turf Club.
In addition to others listed Boathouse is really good too
Never tried the steak at boathouse, only the seafood. Maybe I'll try the Surf n Turf next time. Continued prayers.
Same here. I would never use up 2 credits on one meal.
We did Signature Dining Deluxe Dining Plan one trip. It was a lot of money and a lot of food, but it was terrific. Tried a lot of good restaurants, some ones I would return to, and others I wouldn't. My goal is still to do Victoria & Albert's, although I'm afraid of the bill.
I don't know the first two are just steak places, but...
Cali Grill (steak on brunch menu)
Tiffins
Turf club
Haven't done Shula's or Le Cellier simply because I can't justify that much money as much as I love a good steak. I had a hard time justifying the expense at Cali grill, but if I do it again, I will focus mostly on the steak and not have as much of the other stuff that filled me up too much.
Haven't tried Tiffins yet. Family likes Yak n Yeti at AK, so that is usually one of repeat meals. DW also has Landry card, so no reservations needed.
In the office and taking a break. Decided it was either jump on here for a minute or a couple of fingers of ouzo. You should be impressed you rate so well!
I would have went with the ouzo.
Having a good time here at AKL.Only down side is my luggage is lost. Wife got hers just mine is missing. I don't really care about the clothes, there were 2
40ozs of Rum in there.
Good luck on the luggage. Have a great trip.
