We never do, Norm.Well, last day in the office which should never be confused with work.
Ahh, youth sports and referees. We have the same thing. They are really trying to keep the game moving unfortunately. One referee this weekend when I ask about a girl that was traveling said...and I quote....."they are all traveling".When I asked if she planned to call a few just to teach some of them, she said "nope". I called a timeout, told DD to catch the ball and run to the hoop without dribbling. She called a travel. I commented that she said she wouldn't call it. I spent the rest of the game sitting quietly on the bench after the technical foul.

We spoke to the ref before the next game and told him to call obvious travels & double dribbles on our team if he sees them. We kind of hoped that would spur him to calling them on both teams, but it didn't. Our boys play pretty cleanly, so I guess that's what matters.
Yup. Now let's get Joe Beer nipping at my liver.Jack Frost nipping at your nose, Mr. Peterson?
You could try the old "I pay your salary!" bit.Somebody had the bright idea of scheduling a meeting here tomorrow morning. I'm calling the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

g Was told it was the new firewall. Maybe, just maybe it is a bandwidth issue and someone (not mentioning any names) could be clogging up the system surfing the net.

Of course it couldn't fail while we were working on the basement. It had to wait until 3 weeks after everything was finished and the new carpets, walls and bar were at risk. Luckily I caught it before the leaking commenced. New heater, containment and warning alarm and emergency shut off installed. $2K for the full job.
