Since Tim said I couldn't hug the girls in the office to keep them warm, I've been having some fun with math. 98 months until retirement. Assuming 2 vacation months a year, that is down to 82 months.

Top O the Morning Dads. Since I have basically wrapped up next trip planning with FP yesterday, here's the ADRs and FPs for Christmas trip:
Sunday 28th - Portobello @ DTD
Monday 29th - Soarin, Spaceship Earth, Capt EO (we have never done this) & Candlelight Processional Dinner package - Biergarten
Tuesday 30th - Crystal Palace Bkfst, BTMR, SplashM, & SDMT
Wed 31st - 50's Prime Time, TSM, Star Tours, Frozen Show
Thu 1st - FOTLK, EE, Dinosour

Good restaurant choices. Was the Kilimanjaro Safari ride booked up at AKL or is that just not your thing? If I had to ride anniversary rides repeatedly, then I may pick that one.

And a lot of them make more at Kentucky than they'll ever make in the NBA.

Do you remember those light up Mickey head USB drives that Disney was sending out with Magic Bands a year or so ago? I sent my son to school with one yesterday with some vacation pictures loaded on it to show to his class as part of his "keep a travel journal" assignment. After he plugged it in and it lit up, his teacher stopped class, grabbed her cell phone and took a picture of it. I got an email that afternoon from her asking where we got it because she loved it so much.

I think this is going to be a good school year for my son.

We will be hitting each park at RD. Since we have done this time of year before the parks can hit capacity. So for AK we will hit Safaris first thing so no FP. Plan is to hit Space Mtn, RnR, Test Trac all at RD.

Sorry about the absence. Some knucklehead from Miami came up here and I stole his credit card at a Red Sox game and spent a ton of money on scotch and disney swag. Needed to lay low in case he frequents this board. Doubt he's smart enough to notice though.

Yeah, it is great at RD. Even better with a Tusker House before park opens ADR so that you can be first in line and watch the herd running toward you. I think the animals are most active in the morning. I might try to ride it once and FP to ride it again in the morning.

From what I'm understanding with these Magic Bands, they are good for 5 years and I think they are all linked together, If this is the case next summer I think I will wear a different color everyday during our tripg, although probably no one would ever notice, it still seems cool

I've always been somewhat of a collector, for Disney it's Transportation Cards (have complete sets of all 3 series), Sorcerer Cards, Safety Cards, pressed pennies, different covers on park maps, stickers etc. And now Magic Bands only need 2 more for the complete offered set:good vibes (my son is way ahead of me since he had to have the Olaff & Haunted Mansion Magic Bands)

Now most of these things are free, and seem meaningless to most visitors, but believe it or not they carry some value, some are actually pretty decent, especially as a complete set

Fun game to watch but disappointing result. Thought they should have pounded it down FSU's throat in the second half. Another example of why college football is the best game out there.
