CJ- have fun in the keys. Try to post a picture or two of the Pool Bar. I'm sure you can find one somewhere.

I'm sure CJ will do his best.

Yes, we have sunshine, nice weather, nude beaches but the people in Miami are nuts. As Dave Barry once put it, we live too close to the equator and the sun fries our brain. Also it isn't like I am going to some Gulag in Siberia. Key Largo, Disney World, .

I think the issue is that we have our share of crazy here, but without the sunshine, nude beaches, nice weather, nude beaches, girls in bikinis, or nude beaches.

A win in fantasy football? What's that like?

I was informed last night that my daughter and I will be Anna and Kristoff. Kind of makes sense since her name is Anna and mine is Chris.

I had a great year in Fantasy Baseball. Not doing so well in Fantasy Football. I blame David.

Hey guys!!

Been a long time since I posted. Hope everyone is doing well.

Good to hear from you. How are things?

All things considered…
I’d rather see the pop-up ads for Russian Mistresses than this schmuck.

Any of y’all feel like sinking the retirement fund into this one :lmao:

No pictures on my screen. I thought you were talking about CJ's post about how horrible Miami is.

Happy Hump Day, y'all...
These Google ads are getting scary...
I usually see ads for Disney and Jeep, but what do I see at the bottom of the page that mentions dating older Russian women???

AN AD FOR FINDING OLDER RUSSIAN WOMEN TO DATE!

If they look like that, I may move to that cave as well, just not with you. I'll get my own cave. :lmao:

Top of the Morning Duck!

Anyone in the Boardwalk area October 7th, Norm and his family, Jim and his daughter, and I will be having lunch at ESPN. I am going to try to be there around 11:30 and the rest of the group will be showing up sometime later. Stop by anytime around then and stay for lunch or just pop in to yell "NORM!" and have a beverage.

I thought they were supposed to yell Norm and buy me a beer. Oh wait, you have that covered. :teacher:

Since I work doing online ad stuff I can't really do that.

You are correct. We it is divequest. I am not sure why I called it the aquatour. We've done the surface version, and I am really looking forward to being able to actually submerge.

We had DVC points to use up so we'll be at OKW on 12/9-12/14. We're staying at B resort on the 8th and we might add another night there. I'd really like to try out discovery cove. DD is 9 and I'm kind of hoping I could use that as a way of getting her interested in snorkelling and then diving too. If 75% of the family is really into snorkelling/diving it'll be easier to book vacations around that.

We are going to miss you by a couple of days. Divequest is cool and I am thinking about adding it to an upcoming trip. Discovery Cove is also neat. We went there years ago. They had a dolphin named CJ but the boy is a bit of a wimp. The pod he was in had a dominate female named Latoya and she liked to bully him around.

The trainer thought it would be fun to have her splash me.

CJ and Latoya next to each other. He was literally trembling with fear. I told him to man up.

The stupid things we do for our kids.

How is the turbo chicken fryer thing holding up?

Approximately 39 hours for me. Tiki Bar here I come. Have fun but try to leave some semblance of the resort for when I get there.

I think the issue is that we have our share of crazy here, but without the sunshine, nude beaches, nice weather, nude beaches, girls in bikinis, or nude beaches.

No one, and I mean no one does stupid more than S. Florida. Yes, you hear the odd story of someone from Kentucky blowing up a still or something, but most "this person is insane" stories come from here. Need I remind anyone of the zombie apocalypse episode we had?

I thought they were supposed to yell Norm and buy me a beer. Oh wait, you have that covered. :teacher:

Yep, got you covered. Just like Jim has me covered. Anyone is more that welcome to yell NORM or even CJ and buy a round. Not sure why anyone would yell JIM and buy a round though.

** Bad Idea of the Day ***
engineering-safety-fails-18.jpg
Reminds me of an incident back on my ship when one of my Gunner's Mates decided to have a bit of fun at the expense of a fresh new Ensign.
It involved a hammer, a cold chisel, and a 3"/50 canister. (Imagine a 30-06 round scaled up to be about 3 feet long; now imagine a tin can desiged to hold that). While the Gunner's Mate was dutifully making holes in the now-empty canisters from previous day's gunnery exercise to ensure they would sink, the Ensign poked his head into the door to see what the noise was about. Without missing a beat, the Gunner's Mate grabbed another canister, and assumed a stance similar to the one above with the hammer and knife, saying "This is it, Mr X.. I've had enough! I can't take any more of the *&*^*(@#$ around here!" The GM said he'd never heard anybody run so fast through the inside of a ship in his life... :rotfl2::rotfl:
And before y'all ask, no, I was NOT the Ensign involved :lmao:

No time to catch up. CRUD and life and situations that never seem to end but at least I am on the green side of the sod still. Our Chief Bacon Officer suggested changing my avatar to something happy so I will see if it helps. Can't hurt.

Safe travels to all, may you have excessive bacon, cold beer and great times.

Evening gents, got back home about 30 minutes ago. Safe travels to all and to Chris & CJ enjoy the costumes this year with the DDs,
Well guys, we are all packed and ready to go. this last day of work is going to kill me. I wish I had added a day to this trip 48 hours is super short esp when you have set plans. I have been in contact with Norm, Chris (I think my message sent) and Steve so hopefully we can get some good meets in.

When I first read this, the "f the woods" jumped out. I was like, "Wow, what's he got against the woods?" It was funny in my mind and that's all that really matters.:rotfl2:

Not to worry…
I’d have pegged you as the GM before I considered you as being the pup Ensign in that story.

Interesting choice on the avatar :lmao:
May things start lookin’ up for you in the near.

Excellent!!!
Y’all should consider selling work of that caliber.

I just figured that they’d misplaced the young’ens pacifier and simply grabbed the closest thing at hand as a substitute.

There was something closer. ;)

What's that saying.....you can have my gun when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.
