A good day and night of football, that is unless, you are a Big 10 fan. Am I a bad person to root against Ohio Sate and Urban Meyer? Gators looked all world against another Little Sisters of the Poor directional team but it was nice to see some production from the offense.

Now the Phins need to beat the Phats tomorrow.

Being a Steelers fan, I obviously hate Cleveland and Cinci. I have also been a Yankees fan and years of the Indians in the AL East further perpetuated my disdain towards Cleveland. And finally,when I was young, my cousins moved to Westerville, OH and both graduated from OSU. They are INSANELY zealous and all I heard about for years was OSU.

So at least there is logic behind/my hate.

Looks like the second round is on me in October. I hope the Pats defense figures out how to stop the run. Revis is pretty much a non factor when the other team is averaging 8 yards a carry. Oh, good thing we got rid of Kelly on the D line and Mankins on the O line.

Actually think it is a law that you need to root against him. He did win two national Championships at Florida but the way he left didn't sit well. The program was a wreck, discipline was non-exsistant, everyone had a sense of entitlement...

When Petrino left UL football, it was similar. Charlie Strong turned that program around. Now that Petrino has returned and UL is 2-0, all is forgiven.

We are heading up north for my brothers wedding today. It's in a barn so we won't be staying long, lol.

Seriously... I'm about to block the Big Ten Network on Facebook. I'm sick of seeing them try to sugar coat everything. It reminds me of Kevin Bacon yelling "all is well" in Animal House in the midst of total chaos. I mean really, just admit the conference sucks. MSU is still a really good football team. Oregon was just better. But MSU's playoff chances are over since they play in a mid-major now.

Same goes for Purdue. I will be surprised if we aren't on our 4th coach in something like 8 years next season. All the talk about the talent and offensive weapons and the offense can't even get moving against Central Michigan. Give me a break.

They put a 1 win team on the field, keep raising ticket prices, and wonder why the place looks empty on TV. I considered going this weekend, but glad I didn't. The fear of a loss isn't what kept me away. It was the hit that my wallet would take if my son and I went to the game.

It's another Monday morning. Got the email that our new MB have shipped for the October trip. We won't use them though as I have the HM one and DD got Elsa while we were there in August. FP+ booked and even started packing yesterday now that the fall weather seems to have arrived and I don't need all those summer clothes.

Yes, the Phins looked pretty good. However, the Pats looked horrible. I am going to say we will start 0-2. If Moreno and Smith can put up 200 yards rushing, I am scared to even think of what Peterson will do to us next week. The over under on Cassell throw attempts is probably something like 15. Hopefully 10-6 wins the AFC East. Well, there's always the Bruins.

It's just a matter of time before we are paying them to play in college. A $200K scholarship and education is no longer good enough for incentive. Even the smaller colleges now are starting to use the $$ made in the sports programs so they can make ridiculous amounts of $$. I watched some of the Michigan/ND game and even Michigan looks pretty awful.
