Breathe man, just breathe.

If you remember, the last time they lost the season opener everyone was calling for the Hoodie to be fired and saying we were screwed because he cut Lawyer Milloy. We then went on to win the Super Bowl (and did it again the next year). No need to panic.
It's not panic or stressing, it's the reality of seeing both lines get beat all game. The Dolphins are not one of the teams with premiere O or D lines and they won the line of scrimmage all day. I did check out Tommy Kelly last night and boy I wish we could get players like that.

I think losing the O line coach and then Mankins is going to hurt a lot.
Defensively, they will never play to their strength if they can't stop the run. Just in case you didn't get the read the name on the back of that jersey as he was running through the gaping hole in the D line, it was "Moreno". Yup the same one that couldn't get 3 yards a carry in Denver.
My question still holds. Does 10-6 win the AFC East? I would have guessed 12-4 or even 13-3 at the start. Now I think they will struggle against some of the non-division opponents like the Vikings, Broncos, Chicago, Indie, Detroit. They no longer have the personnel to run the 3-4 D, but will continue to run it anyway.
Hey guys, hope every one is doing great! received our first magic bands today! Other then work and fatherhood, not a lot has been going on. Norm, will see y'all in less then a month, and a few other dads, hopefully we can all meet up.
On Ray Rice, personally I don't know what has changed since he was suspended 2 games, he still beat his fiancee, but now that there's video out about it he's out of the league, should of done that in the first place.
Good Morning Philip!

We got the email that ours were shipped yesterday.

Now to make sure I get to the mailbox first every day to keep DD from seeing the box.
All I can say, similar to other dads, is that if it was my daughter there would be no body found. There's a lot of ocean a few miles from my house.
Any crafty veterans of the
MVMCP?
Last year Norm dropped tons of knowledge on me about
MNSSHP and it paid off in spades for my family and friends.
The MVMCP is foreign territory for me. We are doing it the last Friday that we are there, which also happens to be the inaugural night for the event and the Osborne Family Christmas Lights at DHS.
The strategies for both parties are pretty similar. Watch the late parade as it is less crowded. Do the rides and meets during the first parade. Wishes is a MUST. I'll look back at what we did and shoot over some ideas. We haven't been in a couple of years and I'm sure there are a couple things that have changed.
Not a vet of MVMCP, but as a tribute to my coworker that passed away last month. His advice to me about MVMCP was "do not taste the snow!, it's soap!" Lol
First hand account. DS was 7 the first year we went to MVMCP. He ran around catching the snow. Once he realized it was not "cold", he tried to wipe it off an just went "wwww, it's slippery".

Don't think he tasted it, but our next stop was the bathroom to wash his hands.
Evening...been low key the last week with family and work ,getting back into the routines. Prayers, congrats and Welcomes to any and all who need them.
Welcome back Brent. Is it snowing up there yet?

Morning guys. I am one week into beard watch 2014. I had a decent one last year, but shaved when we got our first false travel date. DW hasn't complained yet, so hopefully in a few months I'll have an awesome beard like my hero Randall!!
Tried that last week. Both DW and DD requested to have it removed.
Good Morning David and Gentlemen!
I call today's Meeting of the DISDads to Order!
I'll have the Bacon!
HERE!
And that reminds me....
Last night was curriculum night at our daughters' school. The 1st grade teacher was going over the usual stuff and came to the agenda where they talk about unique school events...concerts, field trips, etc.
We have one that's called Farmer's breakfast. The kids often come in wearing farm theme attired like overalls or girls come in with pig tails. The Teachers and parents cook up eggs, bacon and toast. this year.....
NO BACON
She cited kids with religious beliefs and kids eating too much.
I was very sad. I respect religious beliefs but c'mon, no one is forcing a slab of bacon down a kid's throat!
As for kids eating too many pieces and getting ill, yeah, more than likely that would have been my 6 yo.
You should have rallied the dads to protect the event with "bacon for all" signs.
Now that the meeting has been fomally called into session...
** Bad Idea of the Day ***
I think I've found where those flip flops got off to...
At least they are using a power strip in case so they don't blow a fuse.
