Morning everyone...

Girls dropped off for another year, and I got my first walk done. Just aroud the waterfront, for about an hour, it's a start, right? :confused3

Also, in typical me style, did some groundwork planning/research for the proposed 2016 Disney trip, just because.

Morning guys.

:lmao::lmao: Recently replaced main TV and got a 60" as well, Sony. My divorce talk started when DS told her we were looking at the new curved screens, at $8,000 that's all we were doing though, looking at that price.

Saw those... A bit hard to justify the price tag! :faint:

Welcome back, how was your trip, trust a good time by all.

It was hotter than usual, but a great time all the same. 7 Dwarfs coaster was a lot of fun, albeit a short ride. A lot of construction going on in DTD and AK. Had a fun fishing trip as well. Thanks.

I convinced DW to allow us to book the bounce back again. Booked at the Yacht Club. It's about 50/50 if we can swing it right now, but permission to book it was the biggest bump in the road and that went well. Will start the planning once we are back from the October trip.

Back to school today. Put these three on the bus this morning.

First day of Kindergarten for the youngest. DW and I may have gotten a little misty. And yes, I raced to the school to take some pics of them getting off the bus.

Great pics! I believe that mist may have just been some spare humidity that landed in your face :rolleyes1 Beautiful kids right there :thumbsup2

Anniversary day ownage.

Morning all. Drove thru a monsoon on the way into the office this AM. Keep dry.

I cannot confirm nor deny that wagers have been placed. :rotfl2:

Yeah, wait for the bracket to be released and then bet on the other guy. :lmao:

:rotfl: Good luck and just so you know we are going to have to review your membership on Team Sparrow if this keeps up. Beer, bourbon, cake or bacon may be required to keep your spot on the couch.
:

Don't worry, I'm keeping up my food and beer consumption. And, when weather turns and start of NFL season, it will be back to the couch.

Dads- if you haven't ever gone indoor skydiving, you should.

Pictures on FB looked fun. :

Morning guys,

Filling in for Duck's good morning message because I am not sure he survived the road trip with all the kids.

I read something on FB about the hotel running out of food after the free breakfast with his herd of children. :lmao:

Get to try out SAB. That's a perk.

I remember those days. Now, they are tears of joy when they go back to school.

Tomorrow morning marks Kindergarten orientation for Chaos and Mayhem then they start for real on Wednesday. :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:.

DW and I hit the ball around with the kids this afternoon. I can still hit it but my serve is beyond ruined. Stretch is definitely better swinging something than Peanut. It was good to see him excel at something while she struggled.
.

Congrats on surviving kindergarten thus far. :lmao:

Your serve will come back if you want to practice it. I tried tennis once with DW. She pitched on her softball team in school, and she was one of their better hitters. She knocked the tennis ball over the fence each time. :lmao:

Finally pulled the trigger on a new TV for the basement; Got a 60 inch Vizio LED ... Got it home, all set up and running, then looked at DW and said "You know, it's nice, but I think we probably should have gotten the 65 inch."

Divorce proceedings in 3.. 2... 1...

Divorce proceedings? It could have been worse. She could have beat you with the cast iron skillet.

Yeah, that's it. That's the ticket. Humidity. Virginia is mighty humid this time of year.

Great looking kids there Chris.

Again, congrats Norm. Any plans to celebrate?

Again, congrats Norm. Any plans to celebrate?

I took her to lunch today at Panera Bread. I'll have flowers for her when she gets home. That's about it. We talked about doing something special for #15 just the two of us over Labor Day weekend - cruise, WDW, HHI - but then realized we don't dislike anyone that much to pawn off our children on them that long. They fight all the time. :lmao: :sad2:

Best wishes to Chaos and Mayhem and prayers for the teacher. :rotfl:
Thanks. they are in separate classes this year.

Nemie - good luck on kindergarten. I'm sure if you get stuck, chaos and mayhem will help you.

Barry- call me if you need soccer coaching help.

Dads- if you haven't ever gone indoor skydiving, you should.
Not funny.

I thought you were the karate guy? :confused3

That looked like a lot of fun.
All the best to Chaos & Mayhem on this memorable day for them and the family :thumbsup2
Thanks.

Pulling the dandelions out of the backyard and putting them in the vase doesn't go over very well.

At least get the TV in the settlement.

Good afternoon gentlemen.

And so it begins. Next they will be driving to school.

Wish I thought of that when I took her and six of her friends to WDW.

Hey Nemi. Since we are all paid up on those past bets, and the rumor is the Pats are planning the "squish the fish" on Sunday....It would seem that Dole Whip bets are in order. Or at least something fun. You in?

Sucker bet but I will take it. Phins will probably be an 8-8 team. I am coming in the 7th and may meet Norm for lunch at ESPN for lunch. You in? Will buy the first round. The second round for Norm since I owe him.

Good morning! I hope everyone enjoyed their first weekend of watching college football!

Had a good weekend even if the Florida game was rained out. Some good games and FSU and Alabama looked beatable. A bonus was Miami lost.

Great pics, Hope the kids did well today. See my previous post, they grow up quick.

At least take a run to the bourbon bar. Congrats again on 15.

We made it back home. Had a great time at the adoption reunion, enjoyed meeting Aaron and his family, closed a hotel breakfast buffet, and am now watching CYO kickball.

** Bad Idea of the Day ***

It's the flip flops that make this a bad idea, right?:confused3

Top O the Morning Dads! Too bad the holiday weekend is over. Got family weekend this weekend coming up to look forward to for us, NFL starts Thursday, short work week so all it all not bad. Have a good one gents.
Sounds like some nice plans! While this is a busy time of the year, it's one of my favorites. College and NFL football starting, ulcers from fantasy football decisions, cooler weather, bon fires (with beer)...F&W festival! :goodvibes

Isn't that part of our very fiber? Being at WDW or planning for WDW? :thumbsup2

Today is T-60 days. I was online at Midnight making my FP+ selections. I was happy with what I got. The selections will probably change about 100 more times between now and when we get to the attractions though!

It looks like I will be in the market for a couple of cars soon:crazy2:, My car last week blew the heater core and I know that it will cost around $1200, Since I also know I need front struts bringing it to about $2000 I'm going to be looking I want to try to make it last till at least the spring, I already fixed the heater core problem for now using my McGyver skills, 2pairs of needle nose vice grips and duct tape (didn't fix it but it's not leaking any more:thumbsup2} also I am planning on replacing DW minivan with 170K on it by May:confused3, .
Since I'm not in a bind I'm going to shop around and hit the senior neighborhood clubhouses for some low mileage luxury cars at a really good price:thumbsup2
