Greetings from the surface of the sun. MK has to be 99 degrees today. If Ellen ' Energy adventure was here, I'd ride it over and over again.

Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Mickey's Philharmagic and Country Bear Jamboree are good alternatives! Try and stay hydrated!
How are the crowds?

And sometimes, in the MK, you can spice them up yourself...

You are a wise man, Randall! :worship:

I keep checking the 1st page for updated trips. Am I really the only DISDad that's going to be there from Nov 1 - 8th?

. I think that the reminders are mostly for me!:lmao:
I also feel great relief and joy when we have an activity-free day!
party:

The calendar app is definitely for me. I could not survive without it. Well, I could survive, but I'd rarely be anywhere I'm supposed to.

You know, I've never even had a dole whip. I hear everyone talking about them and I always plan on trying one but by the time we get there that's the last thing on my mind. I'll try to remember this time....

Then you have a lot of work to do. Personally, I like the pineapple/vanilla swirl in pineapple juice. But, you have to try them all to make sure. :lmao:

There's Philharmagic. CoP smells too much like hay or elephants to spend the whole day in there.

if you buy me a ticket, book me a room, and get me some transportation, then I'll be there with you. :lmao:

Hard to say on the crowds. We got here at about noon. I'm getting sunburned through my shirt.

Morning nemesis.

Afternoon. I just cut mine.....its hot out :scared1:

This is why I don't knock the A/C rides like IASW :thumbsup2

I'm detecting a theme here from you. Is it getting warm? :lmao:

OK..I'm baffled...what is CoP?
My deductive reasoning has failed me in trying to determine this elusive acronym. :confused3

Just got back from taking my DDs mini-golfing and for soft serve. It's 87* in Pittsburgh and I don;t know what the humidity is, but I would loosely define it as insanely humid.

DW is working and oldest will be heading to the Consol Arena with a friend to watch a Gymnastics Championship. I'm going to try and do crab legs on the grill and then lure my daughter into watching a movie while I nap on the couch. I'm mildly entertaining cutting the front yard, too but simply thinking about the humidity is making that chore seem less and less desirable.

Nowhere near as hot here today. Cool, and up until now, fairly overcast. Naturally we decided to hit the pool. Zero crowds, maybe 2 dozen max for a huge pool, and the water was heated, so big bonus, we all had a blast.

Evening Guys,

Since last Friday we have traveled about 800 miles for soccer and some family time. Two games for DS, including a win today, and to watch to other games at the World Cup.

Only one more weekend for the travel team, with the semi-finals next Saturday and the finals on Sunday. And luckily those games are back in the same city we have traveled to 3 times in the last week. Good times!

Hope you all had a great Saturday and please join me in a cold beer.

Yeah. I'm an idiot Randall. I actually have that one bookmarked.

Seriously. I posted that from the line at IASW. A preordered quick service lunch at BOG cooled us off. Of course my wife has us doing some wacky diet thing for 28 days and our Disney trip is during the third week of that. So I had quinoa for lunch. Where do i turn in my man card?

That must be a lite shirt, but I get it. Try and stay cool.

Carousel of Progress. But, I think Randall sent you a link about that yet.

.

Congrats to DS on the win.

For eating a quinoa? That may be a yes. Better drink a beer soon.

I sweated thru two shirts at tennis this morning, and we started at 9:00 AM.

Everything is made better with monkeys.

I think this more calls for an extraction team with beer, bacon, dole whips and a t-bone

If I could multiquote I would but I don't know how on my phone. But yes a beer would be awesome. Never before have I wanted one of those or a frozen Mexican beverage so much. Sitting by Stormalong Bay (in the shade) with a drink in my hand would be great. Unfortunately alcohol is out all month as well. Norm! Get in off that ledge! This is me we're talking about not you! Instead of alcohol I get yummy protein shakes and a sensible dinner off of an unbelievably restrictive menu. But because I have had stomach issues for almost 2 years my wife is making me do this. Deep down I'm grateful but man I'd love some nachos.
